Hey everyone! I'm back with another DJI drone video, this time we are taking a real world look at the new Mavic 3 Classic. As I mentioned, I filmed all these shots in the south coast of NSW, Australia - let me know what you think of the footage and photos in the comments! @@juliatrotti is it safe to say the telephoto lens on the mavic 3 is useless? I've heard it is not professional level quality

Thanks for the review, Julia! I'll be getting my drone pilot license through work so decided to get a personal drone. I decided on the Mavic 3 Classic as I didn't think I'd need the telephoto lens. Looking forward to trying out the drone after I get the license.

I can tell with those stunning footages that it's worth it! Going further into the details about the features, this is an excellent alternative to the Mavic 3 for those who can skip the tele lens.

Hi, good afternoon. I'd like to add, another cool feature would be tracking and or spotlight mode in explorer mode with maybe an adjustable autofocus/autozoom. Tracking really would be awesome in slow mode as you said too. All possible with firmware updates though. Thanks for the video.

Beautiful video and great review Julia. The colors really look so vibrant. The sharpness is incredible, especially with Dan cycling. I have never owned a drone, but your video sure makes it look like fun. Something I have been considering. Thanks for sharing your expertise and honest opinions.

Nice video; very helpful. Can you use the zoom function on photos. I know you can always just crop the final pic, but still curious.

Maybe you could help me. I just got my Mavic 3 classic and my video is like skippy looking or jittery . I have a San disk extreme pro so im not sure what to do or change.

When the classic came out I had a very hard time trying to find if it was 420 or 422. I struggled for some reason. In the end I was sure it was 420 10 bit. You have said it is 422 and if you right that is wonderful news but how do you know that. I even called DJI and got no definitive answer. I hope you right but think you are wrong. Please let me know.

Thanks for the video! I just sold my mini 2 and remain with the mavic 2 pro. I will order the avata and I’m debating between selling my mavic 2 pro and buy 1 mavic 3 pro, or keep my 2 pro where I have 3 batteries and all the acc? What to do? Please, help! :) or buy the mavic 3 classic?

I have a complete review of the Mini 3 Pro as well, I linked it in my bio! You can watch that to see all the features but also see the example footage I shot. A big bonus of the Mini 3 Pro for me personally is the size and weight, its so tiny so I don't have to think twice to take it with me on a day out or a hike. It also films and shoots in portrait orientation if you do a lot of social media work!

I already own the Mini 3 Pro and I have been enjoying it but if I can get a much better camera on the Mavic 3 Classic, I might buy it as well. The question is, is the camera on the Mavic 3 Classic so good that it can shelf my Mini 3 Pro entirely? I think I can buy drone only too since I have the RC remote from my Mini 3 Pro?

Great comparison Julia and very clear regards the differences between the Cameras; assume you didn't shoot 5.1K on the Mavic 3 to keep the test "equal" ? Cheers

I have two great quotes, one for the M3 and one for the M3 Classic (only $450AUD apart) would you stretch for the M3 for the Telephoto Lens or is it not worth it in your experience with the drone? Also, as it’s pretty old, is there a replacement on the horizon? Thanks 🙏🏻 oh, what’s the actual flight time you got with the Classic?

Speaking as an Irishman, it is very refreshing to see several female drone reviewers on YT. I'm sure there are more that I haven't so far come across, but the unfortunate impression is that drones are 'Boy Toys'. So thank you for this video. Hard to compare. Not sure what your bit rate or upload setting are but it looks so compressed and muddy. My NBN is over 100mbps. Dunno why 🤔😑

you hqve the opportunity to select your aperture in the mavic 3 classic , so why all the pictures where taken at F 2.8 ?

I used apertures between f8-f11 for all the video examples, so we have plenty of examples of smaller aperture sharpness throughout the video. Since we have the ability to use a faster shutter speed for photo, I want to see how sharp it looks wide open for photo at f2.8 as well. If you use a very fast shutter speed in video the footage can look a bit jolty.

We would like to see you on some of the drone shows in the US. We do have other females on these sites if that is a ptroblem being only with men. Try fly for fun show for a good place to start. Ladies tend to have unique perspectives that add to the drone community.
