All great tips. I had already found most of them. I did not know about moving the gimbal on the phone screen, and I did not know about how to make the remote charge at the same time as the batteries. Thanks for sharing these tips.

For me 2.7k is enough for what I want, 249gr is great, over 25 minutes of flight time and the price is on the spot of what I wanted to spend on a new drone. The decision was a no brainer and I bought the Combo.

Thank you for this video. I love how you showed us how to turn on the charging bank while it is charging the batteries!!! I do not like those short plastic sticks so i purchased some that are aluminum and taller with adjustability.

Thanks for the tips! About charging the remote at the same time we charge a battery I was able to do that the first time I tryed it, but not anymore!! Don't know why! 😔 About controling the tilt of the gimbal in the screen we can also control his left/right rotation the same way!

It’s annoying that they didn’t make the case that tiny bit bigger so the sticks could clear the top of the case. Would it cause premature wear on the controller sticks as it does touch the case when zipped up.

@Antaire - I believe it won't cause any wear because they are just touching the case top. Since the sticks are also spring loaded that should also help keep them in place. And there is plenty of chance for wear by frequently screwing and screwing the plastic sticks every time you go for a flying session.

Are you sure that also charging the remote from the battery pack isn't actually causing the batteries to be charged slower? The charging brick seems to already be running at capacity when charging just one battery, judging by how hot it gets.

Could be, but at least the remote will be charged as the last one, making you more in control

It's actually draining the highest charged batery and giving that juice to the transmetter when he did that. It would not be a time saver in charging from the battery hub like that.. Your fastest way is put one battery in the drone and charge it with a phone charger, and get another phone charger for the transmitter. The two remaining battery charge as normal in the hub with the provided cord and plug.

Hi, I am new to the channel and thinking about buying a Mini. I saw your intro was filmed in Portugal. Do you live in Portugal? What are the flying restrictions and rules there? I live in a very permissive country in terms of flying drones, but I heard that in Portugal the rules are different. Cheers

The rules as a recreational flyer is not very strict as far as I could find out. No, this was on our vacation this summer

@@TECHDRONEMEDIA Yes, but as soon as you start recording you are not a recreational flyer anymore and you always have to ask permission with 12(!?) days in advance! It seems ridiculous. We travel there a lot so I hope you are right! :)

Is the range from the CE version better after dji update ? Many in my country the Netherlands do not even have a range of 200 meter

I was out flying after the update, with my phone put on Airplane mode, and the connection did not break up

FCC as shown on a number of videos will give your Ce model at least 1200 meters range in an area with not too much WiFi. Using the 5.8 band...2.4 adds nothing.

The gimbal follow my finger mode was and is available in Mavic 2 and most likely all other drone using dji go 4 app. What is the size of the internal memory ? I like your preflight turning cirles and prsying to the god of thrones, no, drones for a safe return.

You can't pan on the mini, only up/down. No internal memory

@@TECHDRONEMEDIA Mini has no internal storage ? I know that the Mini sold in US have storsge like the Mavic but I don't know the size of the Mini cause dji is workung to build a fly more combo that they wanna ship after chrismas.

When you have the propeller guards installed do you have to enable the payload mode?

If you are using propeller gueards, you cant fly far away

Still have my Mini and now payload mode is automatically enabled when detecting that the prop guards are on. I don't like the way the Mini handles when flying using them while inside so I hardly ever use them. Yes when on the Mini it's limited to a max altitude of 98 feet and a max distance of 164 feet. Guessing it's a safety thing.

Without a memory card, you say the drone will shoot video at 720p and take photos at what resolution again? the video cut away before you said the photo resolution.

You need the license..actually 2 separate ones are required ,plus insurance cover. Reason stated is because it has a camera !

Fed video. Jeg har et lille problem (Lidt stort) med min mavic Mini. Det er at når jeg er ude at flyve sætter den automatisk max rækkevidden til 100 meter. Så skal jeg flyve hjem igen og lande den og der efter sætte rækkevidden op. Men så risikerer jeg bare at den gøre det igen, hvis jeg ikke skynder mig over de 100 meter væk. Håber at du kan hjælpe mig med at den ikke selv hele slår max afstanden til 100 m. Tak på forhånd 👍 Ps. Håber det er i orden at jeg skriver på dansk☺️🤞

I've never removed the sticks since I got my first drone. Nothing has happened. Quite often I carry the drone in a pocket without any covers and it's perfectly fine. I would never think about taking the sticks out to be honest xd

How to do 360° flip on mavic mini

That’s EASY. Just put the Mini in your flat palm, toss it in the air while moving your hand forward. If enough force is applied it should flip 360 and you should be able to catch it. It’s advised to keep the motors off during this operation. Best of luck :-)
