Replays have zero ping so your seeing the game at perfect pace. So it looks smoother which makes it look faster. Similar to playing at like 3am EST servers.

The match 1 playstyles are very reminiscent of old Kuxir gameplay with modern mechanics to me. Very slow plays, playing mental games, heavy pressure and persistence. Love to see it

People call it placebo but I've done a few independent studies and seen others where there's a game speed bug where it will take significantly longer to rotate your car or flip in comparison to normal speed. It's like I'll have 2 diff gameplays both at 360fps but one will move about .85-.9 the speed of the regular game speed. It's happened frequently as of late but the replays will always play at 1.0 speed regardless of client or server. You'll have the same amount of frames for both gameplays but one will feel like 60fps and the other stays at 120,240,360+.

6:38 I wonder if replays seeming faster is related to video quality. For instance, the difference in amount of frames and their individual clearity affects the feeling of speed. When you go from e.g. 60 fps games to playing in 240 you can feel like the game slows down because frankly your eyes have more frames to work with and its like you have more time to execute eveything

I get that some people love playing the villain, but all of Mawkzy's good plays are overshadowed by his childlike behavior. Maybe if he had the mechs to back it up, it'd be more tolerable, but most of what he does is chase demos and take 50s. Nush was far more entertaining to watch in this showmatch. Mawkzy, act like you've been there before.

@@ALMAHDI1720 re read my comment, I said MOST of what he does is chase demos and take 50s. To be fair, that's what wins games and he's good at it. I'm not a denier of his skill, he's got one of the nastiest flicks in the game and his game sense is incredible. But most of the time he goes for the safe plays (which is what wins the game, yes) over the crazy mechy clip. I've been watching Mawkzy for YEARS and he still acts the same way. Take Retals for example. Dude used to be one of the most toxic/annoying dudes on the scene... and then he grew up. Just wondering if Mawkzy is ever gonna do the same.

No, he's ironically ordering him to go for the ball because Nush is a very aggressive player, he chases the ball rolling on flat 0, stays in the play even when there is a clear chance to take a shot on his net and challenges as soon as possible, often in unusual (dumb) places. At the end of the match, it must have got to him because he started to slow down and allow long Mawkzy possessions instead of forcing split seconds do-or-dies.

tbh yeah mawkzy was pretty toxic in the first games but when he stopped and actually complimented nush's clean reset musty he proceeded to continue to be toxic. Being petty is Mawkzy's signature move and he never says anything actually offensive ofc, so nush's in the wrong here imo. Also I think it's kind of genius to first beat your opponent mentally so he can't play at their best, actually goated strategy
