Welcome to our captivating KZfaq video, as we take you on a mesmerizing journey from Cherrapunji to the pristine Mawlynnong Village, known as the cleanest village in Asia. Join us as we immerse ourselves in the charm and tranquility of this picturesque village in Meghalaya.
Our adventure begins with a stay at the I La Jong Homestay, where we experience the warm hospitality of the locals and get a glimpse into the authentic village life. Wake up to the sounds of nature and indulge in a hearty breakfast at a small shop, savoring the local flavors.
As we explore Mawlynnong Village, we are enchanted by its immaculate surroundings and well-maintained streets. Marvel at the quaint church and visit the local schools, witnessing the simplicity and harmony of village life.
Next, we venture to the awe-inspiring Balancing Rock, located near the village. Be amazed by the incredible natural phenomenon as we witness a massive rock precariously balanced on a smaller rock, defying gravity.
Continuing our journey, we make our way towards Dawki, passing through breathtaking landscapes. Along the way, we encounter the living root bridge, a marvel of bioengineering crafted by the Khasi tribe. Traverse the sturdy bridge, formed by the intermingling of living tree roots, and experience its unique charm.
On our way to Dawki, we also get a glimpse of the India-Bangladesh border, marking the meeting point of two nations. Witness the cultural diversity and appreciate the significance of this geopolitical junction.
Arriving at Dawki, we are greeted by the crystal-clear waters of the river, known as the cleanest river in India. Although the rain affects the transparency during our visit, we acknowledge the need to return between November and February to witness the pristine beauty of the Dawki River in its full glory.
Join us on this remarkable adventure as we explore the cleanest village in Asia, witness the wonders of nature, and experience the tranquil beauty of Mawlynnong and Dawki. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe to our channel for more captivating travel experiences!
