Well if you have a proper AV like Eset (or if you want a free one i would recommend Kaspersky Free) for example you don't have to do that, cause modern ones make negligible impact on performance. I think it is more true for Max since all his pc's used for gaming must be beefy af

Windows Defender is honestly more than sufficient if you are being reasonable and sensible online. So I think it's definitely ok to turn off third party AV. Maybe not Windows defender unless you are playing offline?

@@Alucard-gt1zfTo be honest, anti virus doesnt protect against stupidity and if its not some 0 day exploit you usually do need to run something yourself which is easily avoidable but an anti virus usually doesnt help against that if the executable for example is well made
