@@ZAH33D Hamilton did not take the penalty for changing or replacing any component. In Brazil 2021, he was disqualified to the back of the grid because the gap on his DRS wing was more than the imposed gap by the FIA. Most teams will save engine components and parts at the end of the season, unless they are in a championship battle. Look at 2020 AD. The Mercedes W11’s power output was decreased to nearly 80% of its functioning capacity instead of replacing it with a new one

Na it depends on the championship, probably when he's in the clear or has a penalty or other issues anyways

@@sCito9 it isnt a matter of when they want, anymore. max is on his last engine, and unless honda can repair/refurbish his brand new broken engine, he will be forced to take one soon. the best place would be Spa, as not only is it one of Max's favourite tracks, but the RB is probably the best car for that circuit, especially with their top speed & drs advantage.

Almost everyone uses Spa for this. Interlagos is a second. But over the last few years, you always see them change parts at Spa.

But also not one where he could win if he starts high. It’s not like last year where he could win from anywhere on the grid, so he should do it at a track where the win is unlikely anyway

Spa would be a good bet. If they dont do it there, Sao Paulo would be one I would see happening if the championship is already pretty much in the bag by then.

interviewer is asking if max would take a penalty, whoch track he wants to do at. Max is refusing to ask as the other drivers could gain extra information on how to combat him on track, but usually it would be a track that it is easy to creat a large margin to win by (lik 10 seconds infront of 2nd, ir something like that) so that the penalty (usually 5 or 3 seconds) would not make him loose 1st place.
