Was waiting patiently for this video😊. It seems they got both paths in a pretty good viable state. Super sweaty players ST assassin, relaxed ST WK. AOE WK, but assassin can hold its own in AOE if necessary. Im so glad WK is in a good state, Whatever happens going forward i hope they dont kill WK with some idiotic changes. 2 things id like to see though, AP gain during lurkers Assault, and cloud of steel just pushed to 70mag, especially if COS becomes a paragon at-will for WK.

Okay, but I always liked my Whisperknife more, I built it for AOE/distance, and it honestly always was great. I'm glad they finally gave it some love and people are giving it a chance.

Great info video! But how good is the dps compared to other classes dps? I assume wizard still on top but what about compared to ranger or warlock ?

If you aren't super good at animation cancelling warlock feels really weak. Only upside is you are ranged and will never die unless you play super bad.

@@hurstiwursti my main was assassin until they nerffed path of blades then I switched to wizard but of late I really enjoy the game play of ranger hunter.

Hi Aragon, did u test Assassins Target feat instead TB on assassin path? Its worth using or toxic blades are still better ?

I did, and performs a bit worse than any of these, could not get over 500k dps, especially cause you have to use a lot more deulist flurry, and then you miss most of the gloaming cut damage

@@Aragon- im using AT with detector's equipment and its all about keeping +7% Combat and forte and i think its okay u just can;t use all encounters in one time

they should put the double activation skill ahead of path of blades , this is better damage yeah but making the rotation boring , other enc is making u feel the rotation way more , even less damage since my rogue is my recent hoby toon , I'M using it and getting in to more stealths and more fun basicly

Hey aragon for whisperknife on ST wouldn't you do more damage if you use lashing blade instead of blade furry because cool done isn't a problem for me

Not sure you get how it is played. With shadowy opportunity you get +150 magnitude per hit. So 4 hits = +600 damage, making smoke bomb = 1,000 magnitude and path of the blades 1,080 magnitude. That beats lashing, cause you do NOT want to use lashing with stealth, or how will you use stealth more than once every 10s

I've been using Blitz in ADOM, no MDOM attempts on rogue yet. I'll have to try Path of Blades again.

Smoke bomb + PotB are just better if you can make sure to time them to get stealth back. You need to cast them amongst let's of enemies to trigger return to shadows to refill stealth. Very important atm before the stealth drain gets removed, probably next week. Then it gets easy

@@Aragon- I'm able to refill stealth with Blitz, especially in ADOM. If potb still has a damage advantage, then it would be the obvious choice.

On assassin , if the boss is alone , I find bloodbath to be better than SE since it procs toxic around 4 times.

Have you tested the combo of Stealth LB -> SS -> VP(1) -> Stealth VP (2) next set is only VP (both hit) from stealth then repeat? How was the result?

I assume that would be with shadow of demise, or you are losing a ton of damage. But using stealth LB to start is bad, cause the extra 300 mag will not go into shadow of demise.

1 more question, do you have an idea about why impact shot has that low mag compared to other ST skills?

Be strange to nerf it if both paths are performing well and close to each other, especially in ST. It's obvious WK would shine in AOE, it has too because it's powers are more AOE in style.

It's dependant on your accent. The word's etymology is from medley (mehd-lee): mid 17th century: from French mêlée, from an Old French variant of meslee (see medley).

@@Kallen50000 *_"It's dependant on your accent"_* Absolute nonsense. "Say" rhymes with "hay" "Says" rhymes with "sez". But some people say "says" to rhyme with "haze". THAT is a regional accent/dialect. mêlée is meh-lee or meh-lay, Now, "me" is pronounced "mee", and "lee" is pronounced "lee". Aragon has incorrectly put them together to say "mee lee". probably because he has never heard anyone say the word and is misreading it. Now, you can say "meh" "lee" or "meh-lay", but the "me" in mêlée is *NEVER* pronounced to rhyme with "bee". Never at any time or in any place. Ever.
