If you think about it, supercell made the speed and slow tile on map maker just to test out how speed buffs/nerfs related to tiles could work, they later applied the same code to all brawlers with speed gears in bush tiles

Honestly, as a long term player that has been playing consistently for nearly two years, I think gears are a lazy idea to increase endgame progression. In my opinion, 5 possible gears per brawler is far too confusing for the enemy to play against and the devs have realised this which is why each gear feels near insignificant in terms of its value (obviously they are useful but they don’t seem original or interesting). A change I would make is that there would only be one gear slot (upgrades like normal) but 3 gears to chose from between each of the different classes e.g. damage dealer or support (this may require them to bring the thrower class back) and each different class would have their own 3 unique gears to choose from so gears are used by the same brawlers and different ones. This would give gears more significance and retain Brawl Stars’ identity of a class based game.

I've a bad feeling that there will be a massive imbalance about this update and I'm going to dislike the Gears as it is. IMO, the Gears stat boost are WAY too high especially since it's a passive stat, compared to someone with Star Power or a Gadget. With 1 or 2 gears, it drastically increases the advantage for the Brawler who has them than a Brawler who has a Star Power on Gadget previously. Like eg, +10-20% damage below 50% hp? 20-30% speed in bushes? These numbers are ridiculous and should have been halved or more. To further add salt to the situation, the current trophy-based matchmaking (eg. me lvl 10 brawler with team-mates 9 or below vs an-all max team) is already frustrating enough. While a match is still obviously winnable since player skills and Brawler combo makes a difference and Brawler stats gap are small between levels, a Star Power still gives a little advantage to the all-max team. However, with gears in play, the much higher stats will give way more advantage even to a less skilled player, thus tilting the balance way much more to an-all max team with gears compared to a non-max team. Worst still, Supercell is making solo-players' progression much slower now with this club update, thus worsening the gap between those who maxed and those who aren't. Making a club activity directly affects player progression is just numbingly ignorant to players who just can't play in a team all the time. I know Supercell is trying create a huge variety in Brawler combinations and that is a good thing. But Supercell is forgetting that they are dumping together all sort of Brawler levels into the matchmaking mix and these Gears is going to make players in a non-maxed team much more frustrating than it is right now..

I don't agree that more brawler variations is a good thing. The battles last some 2.5 minutes. I picked up Brawl Stars because it's simple.

Another tip: prioritize your favorite brawlers you want to have gears! I’m not looking to re-max my account as fast as possible, there are brawlers I enjoy playing rather than others.

Coin shower events provided us with coins after completing a match, I suggest that they should make it permanent. So, everytime we complete a match we get some coins not much but a little is also okay. As free to play players like me already had a hard time getting coins for maxing a brawler to power 9 it is just a dream to get to level 11.

I don't think the point is to max your account but to spend it wisely and think about what's meta, this actually gives players more incentive to watch content creators for tips on how to correctly use their limited supply of scrap

I have been playing brawl stars for almost 1.5 years and I am going to be honest that as Free to play player the GRIND will never stop for maxing out your account. From here I can expect the players leaving as because I was also tired of grinding and there was no fun in game. After this update I don't think that new people will even play the game more than 3 months after seeing the amount of grinding and activeness you need in this game. I hope kairos will see this comment and may make video on it?

It’s going to take AGES to get brawlers maxed now. 890 power points for a single brawlers already takes a long time. Getting over 2K power points for 52 brawlers is going to take way too much time. I mean SERIOUSLY? I’m maxed. I’m gonna have 52 brawlers that I’m now going to need to get 1400 and then over 2K power points for. And mega boxes are only gonna give me 10-60 power points per brawler. And that’s not even mentioning gear tokens and scrap

With two gears for each brawler that you generally play (+the club wars rewards) it's not going to take long to advance to level 11 and upgrade gears. And also, endgame content! I'm maxed out since almost two years and this is exciting. I won't get all the gears every brawler, but that's not necessary, I will just get the ones that benefits more the brawlers I like to play.

You should retake the brawlympics cause of gears. Only change you'll see in the race test is with Rosa but some brawlers in other tests (Tick in survivability) will probably do a lot better due to the small changes.

Brawlstars already known to have a speed cap from a long time now. All the speed buffs stack with each other until they reach that cap and leon was already close to it so you won’t notice much difference in speed with the gear

Within those 5 gears it has to be the shield the strongest one, renember guys, one of the slots has to be the shield and the second depends the type of brawler you are using

I already got a pam build. Health gear to get even more healing (500 from turet+200 from gear=700HP/s) Damage gear because it activates when you have below 50%HP and Pam has a lot of HP so you will be safer.

Early gang. Also one issue I feel that might occur and the community will complain about is level disparity. I feel that if you are high trophy but underpowered like power level 7 or 8 who just unlocked a gadget, you will be at a huge disadvantage compared to these max players and have like almost no chance against them.

I feel the speed gear is pretty useless and should be changed. Normally bushes are small in size so you won't use the gear to cross large distances, and since the point of bushes is to stay hidden you don't really need speed. My idea is that you receive the speed boost after taking damage, that way you would receive it in the middle of battles and could use it to dodge shots easier. I also think the shield and heal gears should be percentage based, so the gear is proportionally as good with high health brawlers as they are with low health brawlers

After getting a star power, the start power droprate reset to it's original value. So after getting a star power I stop unlocking boxes for couple of days then I buy a bunch of star powers from shop.

I think the regeneration while standing is a good counter to a crow chipping u out from a distance cuz u can easily take cover after being hit (maybe it won't help if u and the crow where moving in circles cuz u have to move or he will get u) And the resistance one can counter gale ... :(

The powerpoints and gold is a lot. I mean 2800 coins is just crazy for one level on one brawler. It is nearly equal to the gold require to power 9 required before update. I dont think i will ever get to level 11 on even 5 brawlers.

I think the power point costs are a bit much.. although I main 8 brawlers so haha I guess that’s a me problem. I hate the golden tickets too like you mentioned in the other video but I think Gears and this update will be great overall.

I think it will be fun to get a lot power points again after being maxed for years. I will definitely prioritize for on my main brawlers. Everyone who is not willing to pay a lot of money (and let's be real here this will count for almost everyone. Keep in mind that it's literally Kairos' job to do that. Don't do the same) should do the same.

Hey kairos one question Since the power points and gold required to upgrade the brawlers from level 8 to 9 is now reduced so will we get the compensation amount for that cause we spent more to upgrade them before the update

I f before the update you can get 5/6/7 from mega box(6/7 is fleshing). so after the update you can get 6/7(the 6/7 is scrap gear and gear tokens) so what is the number of flashing hope you understand its very hard to explain)
