This is great stuff! I got here from checking out versions of the song “He was a Friend of Mine”. Max has a fantastic version re-worded in honor of Martin Luther King, on Spotify. So great. The Byrds’ version was tailored for John F. Kennedy. Both are heart-grabbers. The traditional versions of the song are great, too. Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Dave van Ronk, and others have beautiful versions. But Max! I want more of you! You are so talented and a joy to listen to. I’ll keep searching. Thanks for your great music and playing!
