PUBG is a pretty non demanding game. Garlic is one of the more demanding. A phone definitely cannot handle it if people with 20 series cards can’t run at max settings.

People need to keep in mind that this is literally Pestily's job, and if you put in 8 -10 hour days working at something you'd also get results. Most of us have day jobs and will never get everything 100% before the next wipe, and that's fine.

@@blackmaster993 I just do tons of scav runs in factory and try to loot on the way to a quick exit - so that over and over and practice with Offline mode with high scav amounts.

Full time job, and a family man. I mostly play at night. Have had Kappa 3 wipes in a rough, and average level 60+. Currently level 30 with under 100 raids. If you do your raids effectively, it’s easy to level up.

@@John637 You can literally win at this game by never fighting. If you take low sight lines, learn the player spawn points and use intelligence you can avoid 85% of the fights.

Play tarkov at your own pace guys. It takes one or two wipes to know what items to look out for to keep from the get go and upgrade your hideout. Knowledge is 75% of this game, helps with making you efficient and completing quests real fast

Any tips for getting better at gunplay? I’m almost 300 hours in and probably lose 90% of the fights I get into with PMCs. I have 20+ yrs of shooter experience but it just doesn’t seem to matter with Tarkov.

@@nukachronic6211 unfortunately not. I will admit I am still absolute garbage at gunfights in this game. After 2 wipes I'm only proficient in killing scavs. I am absolutely garbage with 5.45 AK-74s and 7.62 AKMs. My only hope previous wipe was to use MP5SDs and spray at people since it has no recoil. But now AP 6.3 can only be crafted so I've been using the UMP with Match FMJ rounds as a substitute till then. AKs just have crazy camera recoil I don't get how people can stand using them

@@thegentlevan Thank you for the input. Yea I have the same issue. Stash is loaded with AKs but I couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn with them. Same for SKS and Vepr Hunter. I’ve had decent luck with the UMP so far this wipe, but can’t buy it yet and have to rely on the knife trade for them. 9mm does such underwhelming damage in my experience. I usually will still die even after multiple mag dumps. Maybe I just need to get good with a Mosin or something lol. I’ll keep at it. Hopefully I can improve at some point, or find ‘my gun’ eventually.

Logged in on the 25th to play a few rounds and manage some crafts, I made a few items then decided to commit to a grenade case and in those few hours, they added the metal parts to the game. I didn't think you could get tarkoved in your hideout, but this wipe made it happen.

I have to say, BSG leaning into the crafting through the hideout rather than buying the items outright on the flea, Is a GREAT move. So much more rewarding to craft that top tier ammo then it is dumping rubles on the flea for it. IF they were to continue this trend I wouldnt be mad at all.

Yeah. I enjoy ammo being worth taking, and it also means that there is cheaper high tier ammo. I haven't seen the crafts but people obviously seek out their favourite meta weapons, most of whom will pick 308 or 5.56

Really wish the hideout would get an overhaul. Like why not have a new shooting range with long range and moving targets etc cameras monitor the target so you see if you hit etc make the hide out a top down of a small base with tents as the stations instead. Would love a new hideout.

I just hate how some of the units you build have you wait for 5 days for them to construct, ontop of the expensive requirements. I get why bitcoin farm does it. But why does the scav case take 70 hours? All it does is let you gamble your money away lmao

I want my character to read books in hideout library when i am not playing the game. The books can increase skill levels depending on the subject of the book. This books can be looted all around tarkov

@@Nightmare1z I think bsg's thought process here is that the hideout is the only 100% safe way to get any of the items you can craft in there, and thus they don't want it to be a place where players can spend the majority of their time. They probably want it to be a place where you start stuff in the background (crafts and upgrades) and they get done while you play the proper game

Realistically it would take me the better part of a full 40 hour week to comfortably make 40 million. You think anyone who's doing life right isn't going to make many times the price of EOD in real money earnings in that same 40 hours?

Agreed. The Sweaty McSweatersons who devoted a week and a half of non-stop playing reaped the benefits of cheaper upgrades, whereas the rest of the players who actually work for a living now have a massive hurdle to climb. Whomever made this decision should be taken out to the gun range and made to pick up spent shell casings in -40C Siberian winter weather.

As a new player, I was really excited for this wipe. What I found out though, is that having 100x the people that were online in late wipe, all going to the same places meant I was gonna get camped a lot, and still be left behind in my questing. After a week there were already players going around with lvl 4 and 5 armors shrugging off my bullets. Moral of the story, I'm still lvl 18 with 1 mil in stash and I'm finally crafting the third gas an. It's been pretty frustrating, ngl

I wouldn’t even bother saving hideout parts until you can afford the scav junk box. Stash space is so tight early wipe, the box saves you a lot of time playing Tetris in your inventory and figuring out what to keep and gives you more time for scav runs and quest runs.

BSG supports streamers and chads.. cause they give content for seal clubbing normal players. Dont you find it odd after each wipe normal players stop playing? While chads cry in roubles cause they are bored and is maxed out their hideout. While most casual players stop paying cause all they do is die/lose gear? Streamers = money makers for bsg ofc they are gonna give all their support to them. Streamers have a huge community to back them up next to that so yea 😅😅

I think an "armor stand" would be cool in the hideout. You could place helmets, rifles, rigs, everything that goes on your character (but not use rigs and bags as storage). If you die in raid, you can just equip one of the sets on your stands. Maybe you start with 1, upgrade up to 3 stands.

This is such an epic idea. Like maybe you decide you want to switch one of your kits or something, just put it all on the armor rack and come back to it another time. Or you got something else on the armor rack you wanna run. Sounds like a dope idea. Very time saving in stash as well.

I used to play 3-4h a day when working my full time job 80 hours a week. Still ended wipe at level 48 with 30 mil in stash. Not bragging or being negative but many people complain about time be a restriction. In reality what holds people back is their knowledge of the game and RNG.

its a bit annoying that they keep making progression slower and slower every wipe because certain people play the game non-stop for 2 weeks straight every wipe and then complain that it's too easy. The fact they always play with EoD which skips a ton of progression is the icing on the cake.

Dont trust anyone in VOIP. They might say they are friendly, but trust me they arent. Speaking about PMCs obviously. Scavs are mostly friendly to the scavs.

So I don't play eft but I know from other games I do play (rust mainly) talking your way out of a fight is hard, however if you are going to do it, you want to think about how you can add to the person's experience. Because no one is gonna take away from their gameplay (loot and XP etc) to not kill you. But if you can be funny or even just do a fun character (like pests reporter persona) then you have much better chances. Happy raiding brother, have a wonderful remainder of your holiday season

For crafting skill WIKI says "1 point per craft upon the end of production for alternating between 2 different crafting recipes in the same module. Crafting a single recipe repeatedly in the same module will give no points." 2.5 points per craft are missing since not even last wipe , but even previous

Besides car extracts, we need a video by pestily showing how to get max scav karma or at least how to level up quickly

As of now, it will take at least 300 scav raids extracted. 286 kills as well. If you get no kills or high karma extracts, it can potentially be 600 raids as a scav. Not including deaths or potential negative raids. so good luck.

I will have to keep this in mind for next wipe then, I got the game recently and so far I've neglected hideout but seeing how profitable it is and useful it is Im kinda regretting selling most of the parts for it lol

I am surprised you did not mention the new spare metal parts and sewing kits required for the hideout upgrades, I was literally just ready to upgrade then they did a patch and now those items are 300k on the flea...

Hope they make them able to find all maps same With the damm military tubes for heating lvl 3 those are like 1 m to 2 m and you need like 6-8 more for those damm things

I can't wait til we get something like Path of Exile's Standard league, with a permanent hideout that keeps the upgrades we put into it. In the patch that added Reserve, I worked up to a full junkbox of water filters. Felt like a very big achievement, I'm still satisfied all this time later by that.
