Conor was levels ahead then too… but he peaked and then it’s just been slowly down hill. Max has only gotten better over the years. Same can he said for Dustin, another guy Conor beat early on.

@@tydupont8084 Conor messed up his career moving up and staying at 155. Before the leg break, I really dont think he was washed. He lost to killers, just had no business hanging around at lightweight. Max has been a lot more consistent but we all know he would rack up more losses had he stayed also at lightweight. Their fighting styles are more suited for featherweight.

Prime Conor vs prime Max would have been one for the ages. Power, fluidity and technique vs technique, volume and cardio. Now I just see Max probably running away with it vs how Conor schooled him in fight 1 when they were younger.

It NEVER happens. Conor hasn't been able to make 155 in YEARS. That's why he wants to fight 155ers at 170. Max is a small 155er. Conor has only ever won ONE fight at 155, and that was against Eddie.

Max is a lot like DC before his HW career. Won every fight against everyone not named Jon for DC and Same for Max …not named Volk. For Max he’s the loved Champ. Volk comes along and reigns supreme. Feel so sorry for fighters like Max. His figure is best at 145 and so I don't really wanna see him go up to Lightweight as I don't see his style beating any of the current Top 5. But don't want him just fighting those lower in the ranks than him either and I don't think Volk drops the belt to go to Lightweight either and a 4th fight doesn't make sense either. Hope he makes a decision soon on his next fight otherwise perhaps one more and then sail off into the sunset with his smoking hot wife and Rush as he has nothing left to prove in the game.
