This video was raw. I thought I suffered by just watching the fight and going for Max but that wait in the locker room was more than intense. It felt like the whole team and family was going to war. From my experience, there's a weird calm that floats over everybody once the hands start getting wrapped. The calm is very deceiving because its not peaceful. Your body essentially goes into shock, and every feeling in the emotional spectrum is pelted at you all at once. It's not even worth trying to discern what's what, so instead you have to hollow yourself out and hope that your instincts will hold you up. Truly one of the most harrowing and unique experiences of my life.

i’ve been rewatching the fight over and over every day since saturday. not only did your KO make me jump and scream when it happened but after soaking this in it just made me cry for some reason, 300 just worked out so well. i love this sport, i love u Jerome. the best is blessed
