@@redscrunchie222 yes, but remedial algebra would normally be taken by a freshman or sophomore, not a senior. this suggests he's been in the class but has had to retake remedial algebra several times, which is highly entertaining to me. the sharp contrast of his math skills, his EQ, and general combative demeanor is just...a lot. and it makes me laugh.

I like to think that since there’s other universes, in another universe after he gets scared by the nerds and loves that people cared for him and did something nice for him, that he doesn’t die at the Waylon house and he totally acts nice and accepts all the nerds, and even respects Grace and she and him eventually become a thing, because as gross as he is, he actually seems to care for her. 🤣 Like he even cared for STEPH and wanted to protect her when he thought the house was haunted, HE HAS A HEART DEEP UNDER THAT ANGRY EXTERIOR 🙌

And to think all of this would’ve been avoided if the house’s structure was more stable. Max would probably be more kinder to everyone else because the group went out of their way to stand up against him and he was having second thoughts of them being nerds. It’s actually pretty sad how he was actually gonna reconsider how he thought about them before dying and truly hating them for that happening.
