i was just gonna say especially at the time kawhi had all the buzz he played 66 games in toronto before the left knee we realized to be forever damaged.and in that playoff run he did look jordan esque, big shots (especially 3s) vs phi and mil.

Iggy was one of the most clutch players in history. He won finalsvp for a reason when curry didn't show in the 4th 3 games in a row in the finals that year. Curry is one of the worst playoffs/finals player who is considered an all time great. The greatest go up in the finals not down.

Only problem is that he is a snake, so no championship is coming to the Clippers. He could have had a dynasty in TO. What has he accomplished since? He arrived in TO with a perfect team. Bench mob. Deep 1-11. Kawhi would not have won jack if it wasn't for the make up of the Raptors. They also had all their picks and a ton of assets. He could have won 3-4 rings in TO. The Raptors are the only reason he is still playing. Best medical team in the NBA.

In Max's defense, statistically speaking, Steph is absolutely horrible in the clutch. I remember a stat these past Playoffs, saying Steph was something like 0/13 at shots that would tie or win the game.

To Max's defense, Steph in the final minutes of games, is historically not a good shooter, and Kawhi absolutely without a shadow of a doubt was the best player in the NBA for that short period before he immediately got injured in LA

Fact Check: AD and the Lakers won the Championship the following year after Kawhi went to LA and said it was KawhiTown. No one has seen him since other than on Milk Cartons.

So what I got from this video is that Kawhi is the best player in the world and is better than Kobe. And Kobe should be on the NBAs worst team and that Tom Brady was going to turn into a bum but instead ends up winning 3 more superbowls. The difference is Kawhi is a great 3 point scorer, bigger and stronger, and a better technical defender. Proven guy from a take on the best player every night perspective, no shade on MJ but Scottie did that unless there were moments where Jordan locked in. Ppl forget after the 2019 finals the hype level on this guy was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Ppl were calling him a dynasty killer, a real terminator and that’s from a national media perspective. From a guy who was in Toronto for that entire run, no need to explain how much he had the city by the palm of his hand. Clubs, Downtown, bitches were lit these times. He was literally the most famous person in the city no question. Not Drake, the mayor, hockey player or prime minister could compare to what he was. And the way he played off the crowd just had them wanting him so much more. Like the pretty girl that’s sitting next to you cause she’s forced to be there, you know you tryna do the most to impress her. But besides fandom his play was just ridiculous, true superstar shit in terms of when he would decide to take over either on Offense or defense. He really should me that more than the on court production that a superstar gives it’s the supreme confidence that he gives to role players and fans that we’ll win just b/c we have the “Man”

The problem when people say "without injuries" ok but that adds to the player. That's like saying Jordan wouldn't be a GOAT if he was injured more...no shit.. You can't be an all time great if you are constantly injured and never on the court. Look at football with both RG3 and Andrew Luck.. Both were future HOF players when they played but no one considers them greats because they were unable to stay healthy for more then a few seasons. I do think Max took a few dives to make takes interesting though so good on him for taking a few for the team.

He did miss it but that was his second year in the league, and he made up for it the next year and won Finals MVP. Spurs were up 20 points against the KD warriors in 2017 playoffs before Zaza injured him. If healthy and that is a big if, he is a Top 5 player in the league.
