Hi J Perm! I have a little video request. This isn't related to this video, but one of my favorite videos from you is solving a cube using only J perms. I tried it myself because I really like cube challenges and wanted to see how I could do. Since it was a long time ago I had gotten pretty good at it, and I was thinking about another challenge. You mentioned in that video that you could solve it with J perms because it was an adjacent corner and edge swap, and I realized R perm is too. With some surface level thinking, I couldn't think of a solution because it effects a wider range of pieces, unlike how all the pieces effected in a J perm are next to each other. However, one day I just decided to try it, and was making decent progress, but had some issues with F2L, and wondered how I would do OLL. After an hour or 2 of deep thought, I managed to actually do it, and I came up with some clever solutions (at least I think they are) and was proud of myself. I used a slightly different method than with J perms, and OLL was pretty tricky. I consider myself to be a pretty good problem solver (which is why I like these kinds of challenges), and wanted to see how you would do it! I don't have nearly as much cube knowledge as you, but I've learned a lot more, and was able to do it with what I know, so this might be a pretty easy challenge for you. I would still really like to see how you tackle this challenge nonetheless, so I really hope you see this comment! p.s. great video btw, Max is ridiculous and I have very quickly become a fan, his consistency is unmatched.

Can you solve my requests(please):- 1) Make a video on how to inspect the cube properly....... 2) What was your average from your early days(when you started cfop) 3) What is your PB now..... 4) when I do OLL & PLL algs, I mix one algorithm with another. What should I do? 5) Can I be 'The Chosen one' to get answers from 'J Perm'.........pleaseeeee.....

Looks like magic the way the cube dances between his fingers. Any further records will start looking like water droplets dancing on an hot skillet. Leidenfrost would say those fingers are hot.

E perm can be done by: l’ U’ L’ U R U’ L U R’ U’ L U R U’ L’ U. When you do the alg make sure what ever color your facing in between the first 2 layers and the top of the cube. And when you are facing a color 2 of the same color corner that you are facing ar pointed to the left and right

Jperm, you have just assumed the correct future world record avg. My gut feeling is that it would be rather 4.89 or 4.99 and idk when it will happen maybe in 2 yrs.

Hey jperm I average around 50 seconds with 3x3 and I want to lean cfop but there is so much information online, concepts , and algorithms to learn. I have learnt basic f2l and cross + some 2 look oll and pll algs but 8pim not that much quicker than the LBL method. What should I do noe and what should I learn ?
