This music gives me a feeling of nostalgia, well I am only 23 now, but I am aware how the time passes so fast. More I get older faster it gets, I remember when I was five and didn't even know how to read. When I used to turn pages of a book I used to see only shapes and the text would not mean anything to me. Nonetheless I remember how my mind was clear and serene and how it wasn't sank into ambiguity and vagueness yet. I know I am still so young, but I also know I already spent the most innocent phase of my life. This is why I feel nostalgia when remember my childhood.

Funny how everything seems to be in the grey now that we're older? It's not... but in such a relative world where everything is subjective and nothing is seen for what it is for - it is so easy to lose our innocence when everything is full of ambiguity and everything becomes vague.

@@olgareiss5060 None can answer with certainty that question. Maybe there is no reason at all, and we are no more important than mayflies, whose lifespan is just 24 hours. The bottom line is that we both live for some time and then cease to exist.
@olgareiss5060
@olgareiss5060 4 жыл бұрын
@@stefanos4526 I'd have to argue that is far from the truth. Even in philosophy we are able to come to the conclusion that we have a final end: man's final end is happiness. And yes, we do live for some time, but we do not fully cease to exist. While one day we will be separated from our bodies, we will still live... earth is only the beginning. We have both a body and a soul -- rational animals. Everything has a soul, but there are distinct differences between souls. Which is why we're are ordered to being higher than mayflies. Additionally, we are differentiated from other members of the animal kingdom -- we can consciously act for a purpose (an en-oriented/goal-directed animal). We will our acts and they proceed from deliberation whereas other animals clearly act for a purpose, but are not conscious (in the sense that they can recognize the purpose and discern if their acts are adequate for their purpose). Btw, our final end, in a word, can be God. And why did God make us? He made us so that we come to know him, to love him, and to serve him in this life, and to be happy with him in the next. But, as much as man seeks God, God seeks man. I hope this clarifies a little bit of the uncertainty.

I was trying to work, when this song came on. It swept over me like a dream: reminding me of lovers past, of my children when they were little, of crying in my mother's arms as a little boy, of walking in the rain alone. Life is too precious to not say I'm sorry and too close to the end to not say I love you. (Edit) I appreciate all the kind replies I have gotten to this comment. I believe that each of you is worth knowing, a miraculous distillation of atoms into a comprehensive being. No one will ever grasp the wonderful depths of who you are, not even you. I hope your adventure is long, winding, and not alone.

Music is good when it arouses an emotion or a mood within you. it's not necessarily about being melodic or overtly musical, but about carrying the listener somewhere where he was not before. In this case, I feel like sitting on a park bench by a warm evening. the wind gently caresses my face, and everything is silent except for the nature around me. It is interesting that I mention that it evokes the silence when I speak of this kind of music.

Gloriously rich comment section. I'll come back to add a favorite quote. If not that then something meaningful worth sharing. Update: I have returned, years later. What strikes me, hearing this again, is how well it suits the desaturated photograph. As a young adult I lived in the upper Midwest and there were many days when I'd be walking alone in a similar setting. Perfect for reflection and, I'm afraid, for dwelling on unhappy thoughts. We all go through periods like that and I thank God that we usually make it to a brighter place. Still, it may ultimately be a good thing to experience some level of loneliness and doubt, as that brings us into solidarity with the millions whose lives are a struggle. We should be mindful of them all and we should take the time every day to bring some light into the lives of those with whom we actually interact. Agents of change for the better. That is not asking too much, I think.

Song of Humanity I like to think of humanity as a beautiful melody. With each person just an unassuming note, individually cacophonous. But when placed together, a vibrant work of art! The ones of joy sang major notes, And the ones of sorrow, the minor notes. But each note implied all the others, For the song is incomplete without every note that represents it! And joy & sorrow are like day & night, crest & trough. Every note carried a unique 'nuance', The 'human' nuance that bore individual histories, And filled the song with a profound artistry! And as the old ones slowly fizzled and died, Only to take up newer notes from a different part of the melody, With more emphasis! And the entire song grew higher in frequency, an epitome of a learning humanity, Until it resonates with the song of the universe, "silence"! That's when we know every soul has nothing more to say, For their very existence is all that needs to be said! -Nachi

The only person we control is ourselves. The only moment we have is now. You can decide to turn your life around. You already know what you have to do. There is light in you. And it hurts to admit when all you've known for so long is dark. But look within. There is light in you. Let it out. Tell her. You don't have forever so tell her while you have right now. Tell her. It hurts to say it but tell her your truth. You love her. And she's never going to know it and neither are you. She'll be gone by July; a bullet blown through her beautiful smile. You only have right now. So tell her how you feel. There is light in you. And she needs it more than you. So tell her. Tell her she is everything you're ever going to want after she's gone from this world and never coming back. Tell her she's already missed but that you're going to go on. You're going to go on regretting never telling her the words that so nearly escaped your mouth that May. But that you're going to turn your life around. Because you still have right now. Because there's enough light in you to get past the past. There's enough light in you to turn it all around. She's gone. She's gone. But you're still here. She's gone. She's gone another six years. She's gone and this universe has never been less fair. But you're here. You're here. In the now. So tell her, "there's light in you. So much light in you. And I love you. Did you know that? I really do. So don't go. Don't go without knowing I've loved you forever and a mile."

It bled, the scythe had cut deep. It was time, an end of it, 'my' end of it. Choking on and vomiting my life guts, I peered into the reaper's cold eyes, A grave stare that reflected an ancient wisdom. An eternity of casting death. It was beautiful! There are thoughts that can recur untiringly through countless lifetimes, Like a deprived child seeking warmth from the fire of naked awareness. Perhaps a wisdom left unlearnt. The poetry of the earth is never dead, only buried in great depths beneath old souls!

How miraculous creatures we are! The things we can achieve! The things we can perceive! Like this music. We firstly found the thirst to express ourselves and then we found a way to create instruments, then followed the talented composition, the expression of the soul in a combination of mind and soul. God created this world in perfection, He created us in perfection. It is us that makes this world a beautiful place or an ugly one. If only we allowed just the beauty to come out, only the beauty, this world would have been an earthly paradise full of love and spirituality, full of magic to live in! The greatest gift that God gave to us all, is the gift to even reach divinity if we choose to walk in spiritual path. Because in His greatness, he respected so much His creation that gave us the right of freedom to choose the life we want. I'm very touched by I can only take a step back to admire God's creation!!! Am I a poet? When I discovered how writing made me feel, I wrote! I wrote off vehemently, I wrote off ferociously. So much that I forced myself to feel what my poem demanded. For I had to articulate it. Importantly, sign it, force read it until they called it "deep". I was a poet! When someone reads off of his deepest gut, "Duh! Finish off already, wait till you hear mine!" And when I read, they cheered! Mine was certainly better, Why else would they? A brilliant play of words! Sucks to be the best, For none could inspire enough to muse. And when I had come to die, My grave was not earmarked with a cursive "poet". My "poems" weren't read aloud to children. For I wasn't a poet! The real poets were the ones that read and cheered! Ones that misunderstood and misinterpreted, In their own human ways! For poetry is about connecting, Never an individual establishment! Most profound poets never wrote a prose, Nor an intended rhyme! But allow artwork into their being, And make do its creative magic. For anything that "connects" is poetry, That makes one recognise himself in another! And as I walked into the afterlife, I begged that I read all that the remotest mind had to offer! To be a poet is to be human, any human! "I want to be a poet!"

The crying bench Among the greeneries, Peppered randomly with wild flowers. There was a park, It's air carried the smell of medicinal herbs, And occasionally, promise of a drizzle. Also filled with the consistent cooing of the birds, and bustling cackle of laughter. A picture of profound artistry, As though everything were one cohesive being, Breathing to the tune of nature divine. There was one isolated park bench overlooking it all, One needs just turn around to also watch the giant waterfall. Very few in town knew of it. Some adventurous lovers would trek up here. To talk of their future, musing over the soft giggles of the children, As they planned to make their own, In fervent anticipation. The waterfall hushed their silent secrets, Carried it to the ocean, Like a silent messenger of God! But this bench was infamously called "The crying bench", For between their visits, The bench bore the loners and the heavy hearts. People none had known, or care to. They spring up mysteriously, and swiftly escape, On hearing approaching voices, Like the wild cats. The water carried their secrets too, Though distorted from its sheer darkness, But a messenger nevertheless! The flowers that grew here were crooked in a way, For they largely drank the tears of these men, But somehow retained their beauty and chastity. There's been deep conversations, Painful monolouges and suicidal contemplations, Diplomatic arguments; if their bodies really required, to house their wretched souls that knows no love, And carry around its crushing weight. The park was painted in warmth during sunsets, And as the children leave one by one for the night, An irrestible charm took over. The rusted swings now shone in the moon light in glory, But it only compounded sadness for the sorrowful, For beautiful things are ugly in the light of knowing, You'll never be a part of it. One needs just peer into the gushing water long enough, When it starts enticing you to join over, Along with the secrets it carried. What does it matter, If all the philosophies failed, When it could carry you over to God, Or atleast silence the wretched voice within?

"I love you", said I, But you rolled your eyes. I held you closer, tightly, And you shrugged, Wriggled away from my grip. "Words lose their essence, the more it is repeated", you said. But do you not know? That it is not for you that I say it, But myself. I grieved knowing your eyes don't light up, Like the first time I said those words. But I can't help myself, dear, From saying them over and over. Not so you know it, feel it, But so I am reminded of it. You just overhear me saying it to myself. It is not a fact, but an intent. A promise, an oath, a mantra. For me to remember when it gets bitter. When your round and shapely edges turn sharp, Prick through me even as I hug you. I'd wish to bite my lips, and remember to love you, For a shrub grow thorns, only to protect itself, Not to simply hurt, a call to stay away, And I'd stay away, until it recedes into your skin, And you call me in.

I am scared! When I look up at my poetry pile, Mostly unfinished ones; Some of hope, Some with font so thick, a broken nib and splattered ink; anguish! Some crumpled in woe, finished later with an upbeat ending that doesn't fit! Some fantasies and alternate realities, On hands I wish I never let go, Words I wish I'd spoken, some not! A lot of them on healing; the slow medicine that time is. I guess it quite is! Now I am years older, Light rays don't fight their way in any longer, Music though my love, is not my heartbeat anymore. I am now what I ferociously wrote to be, atleast close by! But little did I know the price paid are the words themselves. For now I'll never have to write them again, Or be able to! I no longer hold the power to clasp infinity in my right palm. Or look at bittergourd skin and write on my great grandmother. I am terrified that I may never write again! Mortified that even if I did, will I care less to leave it unsigned like I used to? I am scared! -Nachi🐾

Very beautiful piece. O. Messiaen had one or two movements in his "Quartet for the End of Time" that similarly used slowiy- moving homophony to capture / suggest deep human emotions. The effect here is more direct / immediate, perhaps because of the seemingly simpler harmony.

Hey, Unknown... It's a long text, but please, read it!. There are some chances for some clear sky in your problem. My father once told me about this. He is a very wise man. (sry for my English. It's not my native English) About meaning/purpose in our life. I will try with some small examples: Let's examine a glass, or a cup. What is the purpose of a glass/cup? Can you answer this question? take a few seconds to answer... What is making a glass/cup be a glass/cup? What factor or parameter is need to fulfill a purpose for a glass? Without this factor, the glass will lose it's meaning... Can you answer? I think it's... water. It's the liquid. Liquid itself! Think about it. If the liquid won't be part of this equation, or this... life, then the need of glass will be meaningless. The glass wont fulfill its role. We don't need a glass/cup if we don't need to pour something. So, the purpose of a glass or cup it is to hold the liquid. Period. This is the true purpose of the invention of all the glasses or cups. Second example (funny one): Let's examine a chair. Once again... What is the purpose of a chair? What is making a chair, be a chair? What factor is need to fulfill it's purpose? Why it was created? Can you answer it? The meaning of chair is in our... asses (lol). Really! It's in our need to sit down. We need to sit down, so we created the chair, to be more cozy. If the humans didn't need to sit down, then the meaning of chair will be pointless. So, the purpose of a chair it's to hold our asses (in the need to sit down). Period. This is the true meaning of the invention/creation of all the chair in the world. Ok... do you see here a pattern? I will show you more examples: - The meaning of a pen.... is the mark that the pen is leaving on the paper(or whatever else). If the humans didn't need to write anything at all, then all the pencils would lose it's meanings. - The meaning of food... is the need to be satiated, it's the need to eat. If the humans, animals, insects can live without food with no problems, then all the food on the planet (grain, vegetable, fruits, beans, etc) will be pointless. Somebody... created them with a predestinated meaning: to fill out stomachs. The pattern here is this (open your mind): The factors and all the parameters that defines a meaning or a purpose it is an EXTERNAL one. The factor it's not in the object itself. It's outside of it. (the factor that defines the meaning of the glass it's not in the glass - it's outside - the liquid; chair - factor external - our need to sit down; food - factor external - our need to eat). You can apply this to all the objects and creatures. All... It's a life rule. THE MEANING OF SOMETHING OR SOMEBODY IS OUTSIDE IT. SO... what is your meaning? What is the meaning of human beings? What external factors are giving us the purpose...? Thank you for reading this! Have a nice and calm life!

You curse and weep, calling it wretched. A psyche irreversibly scarred and hallowed, You say it would take more than one earth to fill it. And that a mysterious winter marred your sun, With a relentless cawing of ravens. But there's a tiny garden you grow in your backyard, The only color in a terribly lonely world. You say they sustain solely on memories, And broken record players from childhood. Oh, how I pray that garden of yours dries up and burns down tracelessly. With the only solace gone, may you force away those winter clouds, And bathe in the sunshine again. I believe you can! "Never", you cry, for its been winter for so long, You found a place in its eerie melancholy. I wouldn't chase them for you, For you'd only draw them back in. The only thing in my power, is to love you, So deeply that you chase them yourself, Or may be not, but I'd still love you!

Music is lonely! Remember?.. when you a were stricken? A grief as hidden as pearls, unspoken! the thousand yard stare? the piercing loneliness in a crowd? ones that could hear but not heed? People that listen to your "words", So they can use it to logic! Unlike music, Mere notes wafting in spacetime, wordless. Unliving, yet full of life. Pervious, importantly "lonely". As you are in this vastness! The loner you seek, The worthy loner to share your spacetime with.
