I appreciate how Trea is so honest about his uncomfortableness being traded/ a Dodger. It makes me feel like he is loyal and will become a core member of the team over time.

@@ScoobyShotU lol, sorry you got triggered with a second degree mention of a city. And trea literally said he wanted to spend the rest of his career with the Nats (do you really think that’s the decision someone who only cares about money makes?) and he said being traded to the Dodgers (which wasn’t his decision even though he’s getting paid more) felt like a business transaction rather than a human, personal decision. So, yes you’re right that decisions are based on money almost all the time when it comes to executives and higher ups, but there are countless examples of players valuing a team, community, culture, city, etc. more than money. It’s not black or white.

@@ScoobyShotU altho I don't necessarily disagree with u bout la traffic. U have to consider that it's different for celebs & athletes who live in LA. They're not working 8-5pm job. They can enjoy LA more since there's so much to do. I'm willing to bet dodgers players don't have to show up to the stadium till like 2pm to begin "work".

@@ScoobyShotU DC traffic also blows. Not quite to the degree of LA, but 495/295/95 around DC is a fucking dumpster fire. I've had no issues getting around LA that I didn't have in other major cities. Atlanta, New York Chicago, etc. You have literally the dumbest take lol.

I will never forget that night with scherzer. Right when the game started you feel the emotions of every dodger and dodger fan. Amazing to see one of my fave pitchers outside the Dodgers just dominate. Can't wait for the rest of the season.

Trea Turner’s initial disappointment is understandable. He’s lived/played in Washington for 8 years! So getting traded and having all that go away in matter of seconds would throw anyone off. You’d think that after putting your heart soul into an organization, they’d give you a well deserved extension but it’s like he said he ultimately realized it’s a still and always has been a business.

Twins fan here. Quickly becoming a Dodgers fan. Love their program. Also love seeing Pujols at the end of the dugout hugging everyone who hits a homer. What a classy guy and a tremendous asset to the team.

Trea has some big arms to fill in that #6 uniform, but it seems to me that he will fit right in. He is a monster from what I have seen in the short time that I've seen him play. And Max is an welcome addition the the pitching rotation. I believe in this team. #repete #worldseries #dodgersblue

I'm not a Dodger's fan because I'm from Mo. Cardinals, Royals, and KC Chiefs......But I can appreciate talent when I see it. Scherzer might be a phsyco but dammit the guy can pitch and his ball has movement all over the plate which makes him nearly impossible to hit. Trea Turner is just a kid in my eyes, but he has so much talent and a great career ahead of him. I wish the Cards would get more talent like that. I was sad when the Cards traded Wong, he's still a great player.

I'm really gonna miss Mad Max and Trea with the Nats and I'm a lifelong Braves Fan born and raised in Atl. I like seeing great players for a lot of games a year with NL East teams.
