Was a manager at DePaul when Max was on the team. There is no athlete I have met in my life who has as little of an ego as Max or is as hard working. Guy works his ass off and whether you are the star player or some random manager on the side, Max was always there to make you feel important. He deserves everything that he's gotten and more. So happy for him and very well deserved.

Seeing as how He averaged 20 ppg at a pretty good college , and has good size....I'm surprised he didn't get a opportunity before last year. He first signed with Boston....Now looking at their roster , They could really use a guy like Strus. The heat are INCREDIBLE at finding diamond in the rough and developing them into known commodities. Gabe Vincent, Duncan , Strus , Kendrick Nunn, Derrick Jones Jr. .....Even Bam , he was a first rounder ....But I didn't envision him developing into the all around great player he is today. Feel free to add more players because I know I'm leaving out a few. Heat and Tor , Have been EXCELLENT at identifying and then developing underrated talent from low draft picks and most of them are actually UNDRAFTED .... considering most teams see 2nd round picks as "throwaway fliers" it's pretty incredible how many undrafted players they've developed into great contributers , even starters. If you were going purely by production in college , who would of guessed Duncan Robinson would even get a look. I'm a sixers fan....but the heats culture and scouting + development have my utmost respect.
