Welcome to the horticultural world....these machines have been around for years; we had half a dozen on the vineyard back in the eighties. By the way, it's great that you want to help others but you have to get it right. The tape goes in the holder the other way around!! i.e straight into the feeder, not around a hairpin! That detour will create friction & impair the action of the machine. Sharp blades are critical.......:)

How strong is the tape and staples? As an example, if you pull on it, does it break? Thx for the video.

It takes alot to break it is say atleast 10 or more pounds of force you can buy different thicknesses of tape for it aswell. I'm using a medium grade I beleive

I've used tapeners for years and don't think I've ever had the tape break. I mostly use on tomatoes, huge vines with large tomatoes to support and have had no problems. I trellis them on cattle panels, so they are affixed to sturdy wire.
