we use cotton rolls with bite block all the time but never secure it with rubber band? I feel this whole secure the cotton with rubber band is wrong! rubber bands are non sterilized?

Is placing the film on the tongue a new technique? We didn't learn this in school. We're taught to put the film as close to the teeth as possible.

You are absolutely correct. We recommend students placing the film between the tongue and the teeth. Sorry for the confusion.

is the rubber band on the bite block sterilized ? since it goes into patients mouth? I don't think so...please clarify?

No, the rubber band would be disposed of after use lol

It's so hard to take PA's on someone with pain or a person who easily gags...Any tips 💁

use local anaesthia on palate

sandi 14 Yeah am the type that feels pain but not gag reflex one time so bad my eyes has tears streaming out because I felt it stabbing in my tongue 😭
