These border checks are actually putting our jobs at risk now, we have strict contracts with a big customer to ship a certain number of units each week, This week 3 out of 9 of them got held up at customs for several days just at random, not because of any lack of paper work or mistake on our part, just random days long delays for "checks" but we are still subject to big fines as part of the contract as if we failed to do our job, this is becoming a regular thing and has already lead to massive cuts to our hours and income as the business tries to balance it's books to account for this totally random drain on their bottom line screwing over the workers. I've already lost half my team who quit because the cut to hours means the job no longer pays enough to live on, with most of the others looking, and when the last of them go I guess the company does too as they are struggling to recruit replacements and another UK high tech business goes under to be replaced by EU Customers by our sub-par competitors in China and America.

Tories got rid of apprenticeships so construction is knackered and as for health care do they not require training for this also will they pay full wages whilst training
