I've noticed that I speak much better English while talking to other good speakers or natives, whereas among worse speakers my English level tends to decline, I often lack words, forget idioms, translate literally from my native language, all sorts of mishaps. I hate this correlation, it kind of does and does not make sense at the same time. Unfortunately, I have very sparse chances to talk to good speakers.

I get frustrated when I'm talking to native speakers, no idea why.

@@thedamned8202 I can relate to that and in my case it has to do with the level of confidence, fear of failure and perfectionism. It might be a whole different thing for you though.

I have been your fan since 2014 Jade. The last time I visited your original youtube was in 2019. Whenever I imitate your accent in my job and also in my life journey as an introvert either bad and good. I always think of you as my original inspiration. A buddy of mine have managed to reach C1+ by watching hello ton of movies. It's ridiculous! He didn't intentionally put effort into studying the language, nor didn't practice speaking, yet somehow ended up speaking incredibly well! Fucking demotivates me each time I think about it.
