An interesting detail is that all the rules came to be after one kid wished for something that came out wrong. Murdering living creatures wasn't always a rule, Cosmo and Wanda once had a Goddaughter that used them to "take out" Archduke Franz Ferdinad which started WW1.

Timmy has awful parents who never cares about him which reminds me that there's a theory that Timmy's fairies are just his mental state imagination because of his awful parents who never love or cares about him and always leave him with that psychopathic babysitter.

Okay so, hear me out: I feel like sometimes Cosmo and Wanda (but mainly Wanda) allow Timmy to make these ridiculous wishes in order to teach him a lesson or worse, because they don’t want to lose him. It’s like when he wished to be an adult, the could’ve made him 20, but no, they made him some 60 year old creep. This is both to make him learn, but also because if Timmy were actually able to make it as an adult, he would have to give up Cosmo and Wanda. I really get the feeling that they could grant him what he wants a lot more than they actually do because of their ulterior motives. When it comes to this game in particular, I feel like because he specifically said that he wanted a game that “you couldn’t wish yourself out of”, Cosmo and Wanda were going to intervene to prevent him from actually dying (even though actual death wasn’t necessary in the first place, but anyway). You made a good point about using Timmy’s actual fears as inspiration for the game bosses, though. I just wish that we had a proper Crocker boss.
