This is what we need.. competitors in the sports video game market. I’m supporting these guys. The great thing about new companies is that they listen to gamers and make changes while ea has hurdles and take years to implement something..

This game has a lot of potential already. And we still have 6 months until Fall so I’m sure it’ll continue to improve until launch. The character models and gear look dope. I hope you can squad up with you friends online and play against other squads.

Not expecting the gameplay to be perfect but Maximum football is heading in the right direction.

I will deff be playing this when it comes out. The past iterations of this game looked rough but this looks pretty decent. I stopped playing madden like 10 years ago and have wanted someone to make a decent game.

For the very short time period that Maximum Football is around, the Strides they take every year is astonishing! EA Madden team should be embarrassed that they can't replicate Maximums growth.

The free to play aspect worries me, but we need more competition in sports games so I’m supporting this when it comes out. Looks fun!

Just in case you have questions regarding some stuff about the game: It won’t have premium content/loot boxes It will also have cross platform matchmaking. It’ll have a career mode where you’ll start in college. And many other features

Looks legit. Hopefully monetizing something other than product sales will allow them to focus on regular incremental upgrades to gameplay so their game can stay relevant for longer than 12 months at a time.

Wish there was a career mode that’s the main reason why I play football games. Dynasty mode will have to do for now. We still have time so maybe they’ll add it then. It’s free to play so ima still try it out for sure. Can’t wait for it

Now, I just need NBA Jam or NBA Street to revive as a free-to-play with tons of fun gimmicks and customization.

Gotta start somewhere if we want to break this stranglehold EA has on Football. Gotta show them that your money will go elsewhere when they constantly disappoint every year. Even in a FTP game with MTX, hitting their sales can send a message.

It would be nice to get updates more frequently then one every 2 months

I'm definitely looking forward to this game! It/s refreshing to be able to play a decent football game other than Madden. To me, it's appears to be a mixed breed between NCAA Football and Canadian Football. It gives you the opportunity to create/customize your own team and stadium! (Madden and NCAA Football need to get on that level again) I hope this game will have a platinum trophy for it's trophy list! Either way, looking forward to something different with a football game!

See. Companies need to realize that with the NFL not allowing another NFL game besides Madden, nothing is stopping them from making a FOOTBALL game. Make it about strategy instead of players and you’ll have success. People get to make their own teams with a world leaderboard and people get to build their own brands around their own football franchise. That’s what will get people away from Madden. Make Madden a gimmick to play with “real” players. But make a football game that people consider the real game to play will be game changer.

even if this game is just average its exactly what sports games need competition so they actually do upgrades instead of just roster updates.

Hope they got a feature to upload your own created roster. That would be so dope to have people update real NFL rosters onto this game, aswell as allow people to upload their own teams/uniforms to also give us that loophole to play as NFL teams without the game having the official license

This looks cool and I think I'll definitely try it out. There's another Football Simulation game out there called Greats of the Gridiron. It's in early access but wow, looks like it could be something cool if you like the strategy simulators like FOF and GLB. Unfortunately, it's on PC and not PS or XBox.

Can't wait to play. I am so done with Madden. They still running on the old engine.

Anyone remember Backbreaker? Football game from about ten years ago, had physics based tackles with the Endorphin engine, this looks like a much more polished version of that, very excited
