I was in this unit, but on the other side in the double cells. This is the west side of the level 1 of the single cells. This was some of the worst days of my life while in this building. The bullpen used to be an inmate run casino. Lol this place was a nightmare that smelled and was dangerous for anyone at any time. When you walked down the hallway is was customary to keep your head straight and not look sideways inside of someone's house.

I did 35 days in that very unit. 15 days at a time. 5 days at the end. I was 19 years old.

@@foad664 I was in the last cell in this hallway for capturing the tier in the regular DS unit and did 3 weeks in this dungeon. I got lucky to be in the last cell because there was a pipe in the ceiling used to pass contraband from the trustees to the convicts and I received a huge issue of tobacco and papers and matches to send down the line to a fella several cells away and man that was a fuckin pain in the ass to Cadillac thru those doors. Had to catch air and get it to flip upward and bounce off the wall outside of the cell AFTER managing to get it to fly under the door with enough velocity to catch air and bounce off the wall outside... Goddam I must have thrown that goddam caddilac for a few hours straight before finally hitting dudes car and getting tangled up enough to hook up and send the smokes down to dude.. But I got a good issue of that package for my efforts and was happy to help obviously.. It's mandatory to help in that situation so I didn't mind that but it was nice to be told to pull out a little issue for myself! Fuckin cool and appreciated 👍🏻

@ 4:56 you can see the pipe hole in the wall that was used to pass me the package to send to dude.. It's soooo fucking crazy to see this like this. I never imagined I would be takin a shit watching KZfaq and seeing the other side of the hole I stared at from inside that cell.. 20 yrs later almost. Wow.

My birth father worked as a max security guard in the early 80's at this prison. I always wondered what it was like working in a place like this.
@righteousdoormat60434 жыл бұрын
The environment of the area was very frustrating and busy. There was a violent physical relation between the inmates and correction officers. A lot of activity connect to deaths of inmates by correction officers, and suicide. Needless to say the prison was hell.

A friend of mine had a grandfather who was an inmate at this prison site for murder. He was happy to explain the environment of this area so people could understand the horrible living conditions that they faced daily inside the facility. He was released from prison after serving time for 33 years.

This prison is sick I just did two years there the feds or some higher ups need to investigate people are dead and not reported sic and not help shot by ur officers bit by your guard dogs you did surgery on my friend never stitched him up correctly he bled out and died in his bed the prison didn't even call his family to let him know he was dead a week + went by only way his family knew he died was because we the inmates called his family for a moment imagine that was your family member...
