Sometimes you can smell a scent and it brings you into an exact moment in your lifetime (no pun intended), but this song brings back nostalgia from when I was kid, riding in the car with my mom.. staring out the window, and this playing on the radio in the background. Everytime I hear this song, it brings me back to those childhood moments & memories. Growing up is bittersweet, but a privilege denied to many.

In 2002 I didn't know where my life was headed I was going thru a divorce, I lost my job I felt like my whole world was coming to a end and one day I listened to this song and just the pure meaning gave me hope again..especially when I heard "I can let my life pass me by Or I can get down and try" and because of those words it taught me not to give up on life and til this day it always remains one of my favorite songs.
