Who else came hear searching for more from Maxwell Thorpe after hearing him on BGT? Wonderful talent and kind personality. I need to hear more from him.

I remember this as if it were yesterday. I still get emotional. I was in Rotherham visiting my son in Swinton. I went up near All Saints to look for an old cd shop I used to frequent. I heard what sounded like a performance of some sort, with this beautiful sounding tenor. I went over and finally got this wonderfully performed piece. And such a good voice even after performing all day out int cold. I took his info to my uncle David Heusel who was a maestro in various operas round the world at the time. My uncle was also impressed with his control and the fact he had been out there most of the day. At the time, Maxwell was pretty shy and wanted to go to mainland Europe to train and study vocally. I'm so proud of this kid. I pray for good things to come his way.-Aaron K Heusel

Very nice. As one gets older his voice get better and deeper. Fast forward to 2022 on britians got talent. He amazed the judges with a world class voice. He deserved the golden buzzer.

My brass band accompanied him playing this at a concert, probably around this time. He has just got better and better.

I met him and talked a long time with him in Brussels, I recorded him singing hallelujah, even better than his performance here. His voice has vastly improved since this recording. Would love to have him on CD.

I realized the majority of the comments came in either 2013-2014 or 2022-2023, nine years apart. Most great songs have two separate high points on the graph: after release and after the death of the singer. Max just got his career started. This is the wonderful thing. These nice things would serve as a source of encouragement, determination to pull him out from the lows in his life and lift him up to greater success. (Lara Fabian deserves some more love, don’t forget her please)

Beautiful voice! So much power! Huge potential! My only criticism is open your eyes more! You spent a lot of the song with them closed and it shuts the audience out. Keep them involved, make eye contact. You may feel like you're being passionate and in the moment with them shut but it breaks the connection. Other than that, absolutely amazing!
