I grew up in peak early 2000's-which is now somewhat worshipped as an "era" by young folks-and ALL the hipsters I knew basically worshiped the early 80s. We went to 80's nights, listened to new wave at parties, collected old punk records from the 80's, etc. Every single person I knew wished they were living through 80-85. The whole purpose of 80's nights back then was to let 21 year old's (in 1999) pretend to be in the 80s. So yeah, it was quite an era!

JUST what i was thinking; could be a REAL, good old fashioned 90's style "police procedural" mixed with a 'gumshoe' thriller/mystery with a magnetic female at the center. reminds me a bit of "KLUTE".

I just saw them over on Paramount Plus - really good :-) warning though if you're watching on an Xbox One :the subtitles don't work properly and are super small. despite what the Paramount Plus website says, you can't fix it via the accessibility feature for the Xbox One. it will look like it's going to turn on for a second and Flash whatever you set the accessibility feature for when you tap the left center button of your controller --and then goes right back to the default super tiny subtitles. the only reason I was able to see the subtitles on this properly was to go through the Google home app on my phone and use my Chromecast to see it.

I haven't seen the middle one yet because life sucks arse these days but it looks so goooood ! First one was sick ! Don't believe the bible bashers wankers, porn is the best art ever. Just ask Michael Angelo. David looks like Mithra, Mithra is basically Jesus.. just saying. Art is art and this director, this writer, both if separate entities 100% gets it. Literally so excited hopefully Russia doesn't blow us up before we see this. It would make a fitting end to our fucked up world. Also, it was Christians that plugged pentagrams into all the serial killers in an effort to utilise satanism to get people back in the church handing over their cash. The pentagram is a symbol of goodness, balance and protection. Not fucking carnage. But that's another story...
