"Borger Toget" is when all the local sports clubs and other clubs, teams and organisations are marching in the streets to celebrate Norway's Independence Day. Earlier on 17. May, all the children school classes are marching, But I was still asleep when that happened..:-)

BTW.. The Norwegian "Russ" is an old unequally Norwegian "graduation celebration" for students who are finishing the 3 years of studies Somewhat like High School (after the 10 years of primary school).. They dress up in blue or red (according to what they have studied), some buy a car/bus together and party for a couple of weeks...
