It's strange that they just used generic morning bumpers in between the Smurfs commercials instead of the Smurfs powerhouse bumpers itself. I swear by 2002 there were Powerhouse bumpers that stopped being used. Like, for example, many of the Hanna-Barbera superhero shows only used Boomeraction bumpers part of Boomeraction block, while Batman: TAS started having its own bumpers too instead of Powerhouse ones.

I guess it's because since Smurfs aired more in Boomerang, they didn't really need to air them at all as it was probably only airing here for like...maybe a month.

@@mesousagaby740 actually Smurfs aired weekday mornings for like 6 months but I guess because it had been a while since Smurfs had a set slot on the schedule they decided to just use generic ones instead. Still strange because Flintstone Kids hadn’t aired on CN in a while but aired weekday mornings in early 2002 and weekday afternoons in late 2002/early 2003 and yet yellow Flintstone Kids bumpers first used in 1998 were used in early 2002. Some say that Flintstone Kids even had green bumpers and than had blue ones in early 2003 when they slightly modified the powerhouse era and removed the powerhouse remixes and background colors except blue and purple.

Interesting point about some powerhouse bumpers stopped being used meanwhile Robot Jones had powerhouse bumpers and so did Kids Next Door. It’s like there were both signs of powerhouse eventually disappearing along with signs of powerhouse here to stay for years to come but only time would tell which of the 2 would be correct and wasn’t clearly predictable.
