Lovely inks and pens. I just cleaned my pens and need to re ink them. The Noodlers SW Sunset is a favorite of mine. I had it in a Twsbi fine nib, but I'm going to put it in a medium nib because I just love the variations in the ink. I have a tiny collection of inks and pens so I just have a small insert for inks, but I love how you have this notebook set up. Feel better!!

Great colors... so bright and fun!! I tool LOVE currently inked videos and swatching videos. Any video showing ink. I also love seeing your ink mixes. I think I want do that with some of the inks that are way too light for me.

Elyse, I pray that you feel better soon 💛. Thank you for sharing! I enjoy all of your currently inked videos as I have been learning so much about different pens and inks. I especially appreciate you sharing affordable pens. I love brown and burgundy inks and love that color combo you made 😍. Thank you for sharing your pen and ink notebook. I am going to start one as I am new to fountain pens and inks therefore know keeping track of all of the ink and pen combos will be so helpful🙏. I purchased several brown ink samples and a few brown ink bottles and will be purchasing Monteverde Moonstone as soon as i finish this message 😂. When I searched for brown gray inks via a Google search, Monteverde Moonstone came up and I think I ordered a sample however know I am going to enjoy it (I pray) so am giving in 😂 . If I do not care for it I will let you know and gift it to you 😊.

Cheri you are so sweet thank you so much. I hope you love the moonstone! What others did you get?! I’d love to hear your thoughts. I just got the hongdian 1862 today and you must try it!! It’s affordable and quality!! I’ll have to send you some inks 🫶🏻

@@elyselovesjesus I will have to take a look at the Hongdian 1862 in the near future and look forward to hearing about your experience writing with it. I splurged on a few Twsbi pens along with a Sailor mini so my plan is to use them for a while, test them out and review. I also have a Pilot Kakuno and Pilot Prera so will be using those and comparing them to the higher end brands. As you can see I am a bit smitten with brown inks. Once I figure out my favorites I will experiment with other colors 😍. I am totally up to ink swaps with you, and if open to.. other stationary items 🙂 however the ink will likely be future due to being a super newbie 😂

I like Vert Empire in my Lamy Al Star with Medium nib. Right now I inked my Laban Rosa in Lilac with fine nib, and it’s such a beautiful combination. I don’t find this ink dry at all, but then again maybe I was just lucky with pen-ink combos I tried.

I totally believe you that it’s not dry. I didn’t even give it a fair chance lol I had just heard people say it was and jumped the gun on adding the white lightning. I’m so annoying hahaah. I will try it in a lamy!! Does yours come out relatively saturated?

I just watched this video. I am behind. I think a lot of the problems with Noodler’s Inks are with the more specialty inks that require more care like the Baystate, Warden, and V-Mail series. The rest of the inks are great. They are very economical and last forever.

I have heard a lot of them don’t dry or feather and bleed. Have you ever had that? The 2 I have inked now are good though. The sw sunset does take forever to dry, but the saguaro wine is normal and nice 😊

Curious. Do you prefer the Estebrook Estie or Sailor 14k writing experience? I am sure they are both wonderful, however would love to know which pen you prefer out of the two 🙂

Definitely sailor!! But you’re right they are both lovely. Sailor is also a finer line so you have to like that 🫶🏻

To share my excitement, I received the Twsbi Eco Caffe Bronze with a fine nib today and love it! 🤎 I am looking forward to trying out the Twsbi Eco Cream and clear mini with extra fine nib when they arrive. Looking forward to testing them all out with different inks 😀. I hope you are feeling better 🫶
