OMG, I've been using Embrilliance for a long while - but you just taught me a whole new world with this circle (hat circles), hoop placement, curve placement, lock - I'm like, WOW! Wish I had watched this earlier. I just did 7 hats for teacher gifts.

What computer have you found to be the most user friendly with storage, design software to transfer to your machines, etc?

Most software works on a Windows computer. But some work on Macs too (Designs in Machine Embroidery and Embrilliance work on Macs). I would buy the computer with the most storage you can afford. But, there is also the option to have cloud based storage like Dropbox or Icloud which are great in case your computer crashes, all your files will be backed up there. You can also purchase an external hard drive to plug into your computer, but those can fail too. All machines will transfer designs to your machine either wirelessly or via USB stick. Also, it is going to depend on how much you can spend and what you are comfortable using. I use a Macbook Pro. I suggest going to Best Buy to see what they have there and what features they offer. hi Dawn, help! I was trying to make the hat by following the embrillance essentials . My top icons seem to be missing the plus and minus icons where you can shrink the size of the circle or whatever you need to resize. they are right under the A and the gear icon? Any ideas why Im not seeing them up top? thanks
