I love the Caran D’ache crayons. I used to use them solely as watercolor but now use them over gouache and they are fabulous for that!

I found that moving some supplies around and making them easier to access whether it was simply placing them in plein sight or changing their storage helps with encouraging me to use them more often 😊

I would put these in a watercolor sketchbook. That's my own opinion. But uou draw very well so you do you.😊

OK. So Jackson's just restocked all the Roman Szmal colors AND had them for 50% off. Did I buy 53 full pans? NO. I ended up with 57! AND I REGRET NOTHING!!!

I’ve used the neocolor and I use them in both! I’ve used it most in my mixed media sketchbook because I personally don’t use to much water with them. This video is so relatable too. I have so much art supplies and it’s not that I don’t like them it’s just I don’t have time or I’m to scared I’m going to mess them up.

A trick for using unused art supplies is to have 3 prompts of art supplies eg neocolors and produce some artwork on a day off x

I use my neocolour IIs in a watercolour sketchbook and in a Stillman and Birn Beta sketchbook. I don’t use them on their own, I use them on top of watercolour or gouache. My neglected (yet, still loved) art supplies are my pencils! I think it’s just too annoying to access them /dig them out when I want to spend some time on my art. I don’t have a huge collection, but I have 2 large sets (72-inktense and 120 polychromos) that really deserve some attention. I have a couple of smaller sets (Faber Castell pastel pencils and some Derwent drawing pencils) that I use frequently because it’s so easy to get out little tins of 12 pencils.

OK. I have that same exact full set of Neopastel II. Trust me, just fill out the swatch sheet and you will want to use them immediately. They are so soft and smooth and beautiful........ But I've been neglecting mine too so I think I'll pull them out.

I'm new to art. While they all look amazing, the only supplies that you showed that I have are the Pilot Eno mechanical pencils. I have a blue and a red. I really like them. Thank you for the very interesting video.

You have some really nice neglected art supplies. You can use posca pens as a starter for watercolor. I also find it useful to rotate my watercolors and other supplies every month.
