@@berniceantonette9865 that's good to hear. I guess some educators should learn and or even re-evaluate their purposes as a teacher. They should know their own biases, stereotypes, and prejudice these things shouldnt be presents nor tolerared in the school. Such as shame! I feel bad for those children who have special needs as well as the families. They should be supported by the teacher Lalo na principal.

Hello Ms. Candy. I am a mother to a non verbal 6 year old, level 2 autistic boy. I could relate so much to this speech - advocating and being the voice to our children’s needs. For a long time, I have been traumatized about taking my son out in public places in fear of ridicule and discrimination. We are currently doing OT, ABA and speech therapy. Seeing Quentin blossom into a smart, funny, compassionate and loving young man has given me such hope and inspiration for my child’s future.

I am an early childhood teacher here in New Zealand for 15 years but have been a primary teacher in the Philippines. Baguio Colleges Foundation. Dito sa New Zealand early intervention is very important. Sa mga sinansabi ni Ms. Candy developing the fine motor skills and gross motor skills of the children is very important kaya early childhood schools like nursery, kindergarten age children it is important to develop their gross motor and fine motor skills first through play before academics. I am happy to see that the Philippines is becoming inclusive and Ms.Candy good for you for advocating for Quentin and hope the future Filipino teachers, Psychologists in the Philippines will be inclusive in the future and knows how to handle children who are in the Spectrum (special needs). A lot of Filipino parent's are now learning a lot from you. Keep up the good work!

I just recently watched your videos with quintin. Being a mom, i was terribly touched and i cried when quintin experienced descrimination in the school which suppose to be sila ang mag support psychologically sa bata and yet sila pa ang nanguna mag descriminate. Shame on them! Mukha sila pera! Kudos to you for being loving and persistent to quintin to learn and adopt in this cruel world! Tama ka when i watched your videos i laughed and i cried because i am a mother too! Congratulations.ànd thank you for raising quintin well! May God be with you & quintin & and your family. He will give you more strength and wisdom to carry on! As the Lord says 'when you saw one set of foot prints in the sand, that is the time when i carried you!' Inclusion is not for everyone. My now 24 yr old son acted out bad kasi naiiwan sya sa regular school. Other kids dont understand. Some regular teachers dont even understand them kasi wala silang training sa Special Ed. Pero pagbalik ng anak ko sa Special Ed, nag excel sya kasi shempre adjusted ang Academics nila. I wish the government in the Philippines will set aside a budget to help special kids, like special Ed schools, training and certification for teachers, speech therapist, social group play and other financial assistance. I am so proud of you Ms. Candy. You and Quentin are one our inspirations in life. More blessings to you both❤

My brother is also special child. I'm so thankful na binigyan siya ng mga skills na bihira mo lang makikita sa mgs ka tulad niya like paghuhugas mh plato pag luto pag sasaing. He can understand you but not the usual understanding of normal people.. Btw he is a music lover soundtrip lang panalo na! Kanta kanlanv ng few lines alam niya na kasunod its eitjer 80s90s2000s song alam na alam niya. Hahahaja. That's why hanga ako ms candy from the very start when he introduce his son💖
