Farm close to me have free running milkcows. They have a 50m stretch of these poles, some kinda setup like a carwash. It's incredible watching their cows go to town on the scratch poles. Cow life must be hella itchy.

Just to make your lives easier in the future, WD-40 is not a lubricant. It is a water dispersant (WD). It's better than nothing, but just barely. I really don't understand how it became America's preferred lubricant, I use Tri-Flow for mostly anything that doesn't require actual grease.

I know this was a while ago, but guys don’t listen to Connor about neck pain. If stretching it makes the pain worse, it’s not ready for that step yet. You have to get the swelling down first otherwise you will make it worse. Take anti inflammatories like ibuprofen or acetaminophen and use ice, heat, or alternate (which ever feels better). Trying to stretch it before the swelling is down will just make the pain and the swelling worse. If moving it a certain way gives you a headache don’t move it like that at all until it’s better. If you think it’s more than a muscle issue (ie a pinched nerve) or the pain lasts more than 7 days, go straight to a doctor. Do not try and fix it on your own. Never try to crack your neck, never force it through pain, and if pain spreads to your back and/or head consult a doctor. You have to be very careful with your neck. You can end up with permanent damage very easily. Source: have arthritis, deteriorating discs, and pinched nerves in my cervical spine (neck). This is advice I was given by orthopedists and physical therapists.
