To be honest, all these tuts are great, no doubts, but I would need to make a realistic project with you, where you actually apply these principles and not just showing where which button is. For me it would make sense when you show for example on some character or maybe scene or whatever is real. and not an abstract acid example

It's a bit oppressive couse i always counted on you as my teacher :). If you're soo busy right now I'm sorry for my misjudge :)

@@AbeLeal3D kk cool, Do we need cleaning topology with quads after finishing the garment creation in marvelous designer? I mean if the character is going to have complete body rigged and the soft cloth to sit on the body, i assume since the cloth is going to be simulated why would bother to do retopoloy on it?
@Nexttut
@Nexttut Жыл бұрын
Yes usually a clean topology would be needed for the cloth, you can do the retopology in a lot of different ways such as inside of Marvelous, Manually in Maya or Blender, with zremesher in zbrush, etc. As long as the topology of the cloth is evenly distributed it should work. As for the simulation it is important to have clean topology in order to have a predictable deformation, if we just keep the crazy triangulated mesh from marvelous we could have weird shading and bends in the cloth that would make it look bad. Hope this helps!
