Hardmesh is god tier!! using that and then simply using quad draw over the top is just sooo simple for high to low poly baking workflows.

plugins made by wizix such as modeit,shadeit,plugit,cable etc are great for modelling i learned modeling from him only. He is very talented and i still keep learning from him.

Probably need to do an update on this, GS Toolbox and GS Curve Tools by George Sladkovsky are a must, in fact the curve tools can entirely replace Quick Pipe (which I'm pretty sure is now abandoned and not getting any updates). Other notable mentions include amQuickSets and amTinyTools by Andrey Menshikov, Build Kit by Rocket Square and pretty much every script by Erik Lehmann.

Does anybody have experience with "plugit"? I've never seen it working on curved surface, but it seems like it could definitely work if it's respecting the vertex normals.

Ktools seemed very nice tool for more intense boolean workflow but isnt available anymore. It looked like being part of Maya not like the other ones

You don't need thest plugins to model in Maya, these are just enhancements and there are still tons of free plugins and scripts around that do the same job.

Ye I love Maya, but I have seen couple of streams with Modo modeling and it is awesome, particularly Tor Frick is a god in this. Otherwise Maya is best animation SW.

3:10 don't use BrickIT, there is a website called MegaBricks which is way faster and has a ton of library of lego bricks and is free and can be exported as fbx/objs to maya
