I too love wombats. I watched an animal planet special (or discovery channel???) called “Growing up [Animal Name].” The wombat episode had such an impact on me I based my entire online personality on the silly creature. 18 years later and I still use “wombat” as my handle everywhere I go online

9:12 i live in the prairies of canada and there are so many freaking bugs, you would love it (mildly annoying for me since im allergic to everything and have arachnophobia but its fine, i can look at the bumblebees at least)

She isn't wrong though. It's a cockatoo. Eolophus roseicapilla is also called pink and grey or rose breasted cockatoo.

That pink breasted cockatoo is also called a galah, heaps of them live in the hollows of gum trees in the park around the corner B)

Oh man… I’m currently working on my bedtime facial routine, thus I’m not wearing my glasses, so when that first, adorable little Georgie popped up… in my very best, grovely New York accent I said, “Aww… now would you look at that! Big, bad Mr George is sittin’ there puffing on a cig! lol” Hahahaha. My bad!! 🤦🏼

Alveus Wombat adoption, when?!?! 😊 And yea, YT recommendation algo is... a bit jacked currently. It's doing fine with recommending new stuff, for me at least... but the issue, as Maya has also exhibited, it's that if you watch something new from a channel, suddenly the algo is like _"ONCE MEANS THEY'RE OBSESSED! WE JUST FLOOD THEM WITH MORE!!!"_ So you watch *_one_* video and your Home Feed will end up with every third video being from that channel... _(in Maya's case, Mr. Beast)_ It's like, "nooo, that's not how statistics works... *once* does _not_ = a pattern" 😏
