Andrew Huberman is an American neuroscientist and neurobiologist at Stanford University. He is well known for his morning routine and productivity tips, and I already tried Andrew Huberman's morning routine, so I tried his sleep routine to see if I actually slept better. As someone who has my own 5am morning routine and who sleeps like a baby, I wanted to see how well I slept doing Andrew Huberman's sleep routine.

I was skeptical of whether or not Andrew Huberman’s sleep routine would work for me because I KO like a baby every night.. & while I was recording this video, I found out some sad news about him that really brought light to his character and choices. Are his scientific facts still credible despite his life choices? Let’s find out. But all in all, I hope this video motivates you to find a routine that works for YOU :) and also, please make sure to consult your doctor before taking any supplements he recommends. You can read more about Andrew Huberman and what’s been going on: slate.com/technology/2024/03/andrew-huberman-huberman-lab-health-advice-podcast-debunk.html

First off, another person's dating life is none of our business. Secondly, just like any other KZfaq doctor or scientist, we need to take what they say with a grain of salt. Sponsorships and partnerships of course are going to skew advice. What I will say is Andrew Huberman was the first person to say that there is no such thing as sleep debt. Sleep debt is a non scientific concept that for some reason many sleep experts and professionals refer to. The idea of sleep debt and the need to get 8 hours of sleep caused me to have more insomnia than I ever had. I think the key with sleep is to just listen to your body. Obviously have good sleep and bed time hygiene but overthinking sleep causes insomnia the majority of the time. This is what they teach in CBT therapy for sleep.

Thank you for sharing this with us!!! That was so interesting and shocking!!!! Also that was so sweet that you and him were reading during dinner!!! I also have heard about reading before bed being really popular but now it makes more sense as to why since it's a way to relax your mind while also not intaking blue screen light!! Oo and also thank you for sharing your whole day with us with following the morning and night routines!!! I also think it sets the video's tone so well each time that you begin your morning routines with the night routine first!!! It's so sweet!!!! 💗💗💗💗💗💗

I do a handful of these things and think it has definitely helped! I keep a pretty consistent bedtime/wake up time, stop screen time 1 hour before bed, and have recently started magnesium glycinate 1 hour before bed. I also limit my caffeine and exercise to earlier in the day.

Please don’t fall for that article, that attack is clearly ad hominem, who cares how many women he slept with, that’s not what his podcast is about!! If you actually listen to Huberman you will see he says it himself that he is not omniscient, he might make mistakes and he encourages people to correct him in the comments. Scientific studies are not gospel, the purpose is to always do better science so even if something proves to have been wrong later it doesn’t mean he was lying. He does a great job at exposing common people to science and for that he is a great podcaster

My whole day routine has become so messed up, I really need to work on it so that I can be more productive to study for my upcoming exams. Hi, Maya, I struggle with getting a morning person, because I were a night owl my entire life. Lately I try to develope a solid sleep routine. But don´t be mad about me, darling, when I say this to you: Cold showers are not at all my cup of tea. To me it is self-harming to do things, htat feel that uncomfortable. An this weird adwice from Andrew Huberman to tape the mouth while sleeping...NO ! To take supplements only to sleep better...that is not the reason to take supplements. Calming tea alternating with moon milk (selfmade and NOT with Ashwagandha , wich is a variation of ginseng and makes you awake ) is the way to go here. I use medicinal mushrooms instead of ashwagandha. Reishi for instance. And Melatonin is a hormon and that can be dangerous for your health. From taking hormons you can get cancer-I never do that. And sports or walks...my body adapts to the increased stress very quickly I am not tired after doing this for a while. But things like sunset walks are a nice thing for the soul and I want to do that as well.. I think I have to reduce my blue light exposition, eat erlier and read before bed time. Then I see wether that is enough or not. If not, I have to see a doctor...

Thank you for running this. Andrew canceled for being single and dating? I don’t wear a tinfoil hat but it seems intentional to cancel anyone who is providing positive life messages for guys.
@kellymabel3576
@kellymabel3576 2 ай бұрын
He’s canceled for being a psychopath by lying and manipulating friends and women, cheating on women multiple times leading to them getting STDs, etc. strongly suggest you read the expose article in the New Yorker. Very fascinating. There’s a reason why most scientists don’t follow gurus like this. It takes a certain personality disorder to lead layman who don’t like non-absolutes and science is all about the gray.
@icephoenix1932

I don’t think he should be canceled but I’ve lost a bit of respect for him. There’s nothing positive about dating 6 girls at once.. That being said, I do think his personal life can be kept separate from his professional work
@kellymabel3576
@kellymabel3576 2 ай бұрын
@@icephoenix1932 if you read the article it’s so much more than just cheating. It’s a story of someone that preaches time management and self discipline who actually doesn’t have that in his real life.
