Mayhem - Freezing Moon - Guitar Solo Lesson

After I did my Freezing Moon guitar cover last year, which is the most viewed video on this channel, I got some questions concerning the guitar solo. So in today's video, I break it down for you in eleven licks that you can learn bit by bit and eventually play the whole solo cohesively. Hope you enjoy!
My guitar is tuned to E standard, so that's what you should tune your instrument to if you wanna play along.
Pardon me for the mediocre tone and a couple of sloppy bits, this lesson is really just meant as an example so I didn't bother too much.

It's kind of hard there, because there is two guitars doing different things and I think much of it was improvised. I'm not sure. I'll see, man. Try playing around with the A minor pentatonic and add in some chromatic notes.

Great tutorial, may I ask what’s the original tuning of this song?

Thanks! I answered that question in my FAQ actually. The deal is that I don't know the exact tuning here. It is somewhere between E standard and Eb standard, probably because of a tape machine defect. I always tune by ear when I play these songs.
