This paper purse is so easy to create

~ Measurements ~
Purse base:
(2) pieces of cardstock that you will score on the 11" side at 2" and 8"
turn to the 8.50" side and make pencil marks at .75" and 7.75"
(2) pieces that are 4" x 8.50"... you will score on the 8.50" side at 5.50 and make pencils marks at .50" ~~ 1" ~~ 3" ~~ 3.50"

Base mats:
You will take 1 piece of designer cardstock and cut it to"
(2) pieces that are 5.75" x 8.25"
(2) pieces that are 2.75" x 5.25"

Purse flap mats:
(2) pieces of designer cardstock cut to 1.75" x 7.25"
score on the 1.25" side at 5/8" or fold them in half

I think you could turn this into an album cover/holder without to much extra figuring. I was thinking of leaving the sides off and attaching the covers, on each side with faux leather or cardstock to resemble leather while being held on with small magnets. I think I would also make the main body out of chipboard. just my 2 cents.

This would be a cute idea for a "gift basket". Not necessarily with this paper. But if you wanted to give a friend a little something -- or teens at church -- hand soap, lip gloss, a gift card. Just a cute presentation rather than a basket. 😊💛

Due to “life happenings”, it took me a few days to watch this video. Maymay, thank you so much! Even though I have an older cricut, I do not have the electronic one (yet). I’ve seen the purses being made by the cricut, & sure wished I could make one. Now I can. Just loved this & can’t wait to start making these to give to my love ones. Thanks again!

I loved the sophisticated satchel but this looks easier. I made about 20 of these and give as gifts with 6-8 coordinated cards. I made some as baby shower prizes and the ladies loved them! So happy you updated this purse.

Cute. I would put in some chap stick or lip balm a pocket pack of tissues a small notebook embellished maybe a pen lottery ticket or gift card maybe a few mints too( tic tacs). I did that with a purse tutorial of yours from before for the ladies at work.

Love this!!!! So versatile for many "givings". I have always said that presentation is so important! An awesome bag can make 4 simple cards look like a million bucks!!!!! Of course, more than 4 cards would fit! Great job, Maymay!
