Thank you so much for this story. :) I'm almost eighteen and I've lived in Rochester for about eleven years now. My friends and I always say things like, "Rochester is so boring, nothing ever happens here." But you reminded me that great things happen here, and made me proud to be from here. I've walked through the Gonda Building so many times and never realized how much of an impact Mayo Clinic has on people's lives. Thank you for this reminder.

oh, whatever dude. your comments are so irrelevant. Mayo Clinic is a WONDERFUL place. My dad is a doctor there and he saves lives everyday. That's not something I just say, I hear the stories every night when he comes home. My grandmother has core muscle disease, and when she came here to get treatment she was in so much pain, and she left a whole new woman. There might be a couple people you've had problems with at Mayo, but there are hardworking, caring people there. So think about that!
