@luichen1156 жыл бұрын
@neicey bae, I dont think black men have a problem with this at all. We see thistype of couple all the time most dont make a blink at all they dont even care at least her in the UK. But i do notice that blackguy+whitegirl tends to get alot bad stares of black girls not all but atleast a sizable group. I am asian and even i notice it when i am with my friends......even the white guys notice it .
@emartinez77336 жыл бұрын
Lui Chen Lol you don't think black men have an issue with this but of course the black woman are angry huh? You just showed your bias for black women. Also are your eyes everywhere? Some people of color have an issue with it period woman or man. Your Asian you don't know how deep it goes. Also all races have issues with bringing home another race. Did you hear how his mother felt about her? Stop generalizing.

I agree 100%. However some schools cannot afford to pay the teachers properly so how can they pay therapists. For a major city that will be millions. Then when it comes to kids you have to watch those people to make sure they don't get taken advantage of. Most parents have mental health benefits as part of their insurance. They need to be parents and take their children to a counselor outside of school
@carliecairo86456 жыл бұрын
Kenya Johnson not all parents are good parents most don't even recognize the symptoms of mental health issues I figure if it was accessible and free the kids would at least consider getting help. It would be at a school so I would imagine there would be some backgroud checks and supervision (every now and then) involved to make sure there wouldn't be an abuse of power and the same could be said about therapist in general and teachers. I understand about funding but if this country can afford to feed hungry children in third world countries we could at least take care of our own children. They are the future after all.
@samonejohns6246 жыл бұрын
Carlie Cairo We all know there are parents that are not doing their part however we cannot make them accountable. We need to make education and mental healthcare a priority in this country if we are truly going to make this country greater. Until then what are we going to do right now today? The funding is just not there

Shentel J. Black men damn near get disowned for dating white women. Look at Michael B. Jordan. Ppl constantly discredit him cuz he has dated white women. He doesn't even bother or bash black women and they still discredit him.

Mental health is definitely a big issue. Officers should be trained on recognizing the symptoms of different mental issues. As well as developmental disabilities.

That fool had a metal shaped object & making firing stance. Police have families to go home too also & we can't defend every black person that get killed without looking at the whole situation.

seamac206 You realize cops kill white people too right?
@karlmarx8096 жыл бұрын
seamac206 I guess you don't understand. Cops don't shoot people because of the seriousness of any underlying crime. They shoot because of the danger the suspect presents to the cops when they try to make the arrest.

This interview is not about interracial love it’s about the issues in our society and how we can change them. But if y’all want to go there, here is the real! stop being mad because she is a black woman with a white man. There are plenty of black men whom love on white women ALL THE TIME and no one says anything. Love is Love! Facts! They don’t give a damn about y’all opinion of their relationship. Checks are still cashing for their household and they are still married since the 90s might I add....so just look at the real matter at hand. Let’s come together and help to fix societies issues on police brutality, bias, etc. Period!

I don't care about their relationship. What I care about is how the hell the mayor of my old city hasn't done anything to reform the police with his years in office.

Reading some of these comments are cringey. Particularly the one claiming "he stole her from us" as if this woman is property. Or as if you're entitled to her based on her skin tone.

Talks community policing and then police kill another person

The discussion about police going into neighborhoods and getting to know the people is absolutely true. I was a teenager in the 1980s living in the South Bronx. We knew the officers by their first names. Officers would play and laugh with us. If we had an issue with a peer, we felt comfortable talking to the officers that patrolled our neighborhood. An officer was a young person's friend in those days. Absolutely get the cops into these neighbors especially at our schools with the young people. The young people will become the adults of the neighborhood. Form relationships with the young.
