The corners are always so interesting. You can see the urgency in Vargas corner as apposing corner for mayorga is a little more relaxed. It’s all mental, if you don’t mentally take not of changes to make in the fight you won’t make the changes physically, rarely we see a fighter lose because of physical differences.

Damn Vargas fought like a tired old drunk, smh. His corner should have told him to keep the fight on the inside. He was having success on the inside.

It was a fun fight to watch, but obviously Fernando wasn't in very good shape. His lack of conditioning is what cost him. He should have won the last two rounds, he had the momentum, but he had no more gas in the tank. The kid fought too many hard wars at a young age.

Mayorga was great for boxing, win or lose he always brought the entertainment value. Vargas was a great champ too. I was actually surprised Mayorga dropped him, but he was never the same after the Trinidad fight. Before that De La Hoya was scared to face him, after seeing him down he went for the same left hook on their fight knowing his fire was diminished.

Vargas downfall was taking on trinidad and Dela Hoya too early in his career. trinidad damaged him bad and Oscar finished off whatever he might've had left.

Una paliza lo que le dió Mayorga al asustado boxeador ese Vargas. Mayorga le pegó cuando quiso y donde quiso, terminó entero, listo para otra pelea. como dijo Mayorga, Vargas es la verguenza para los mexicanos, nunca golpeó estaba asustado y se quería bajar ya.

Pobres boxeadores, dan lástima golpes malísimos, malísimos, Y Mayorga todavía festeja sus ridículos madrazos mal dirigidos y lo hocicón nunca se le quitará. Un buen boxeador amateur los elimina muy facilmente, Vargas ni amateur demuestra ser y aún así prácticamente tal parece que le pegaron una cachetada de mujer. 🐣🐣🐣
