I got the Platinum back near release, and the grind for coins/gears was brutal. I think a patch at the end of 2022 boosted the earnings to ~500 coins for winning a single player race and ~700 for winning a multiplayer race, but before that the rewards were 50 and 70 respectively. I love the game, but man it was such a tedious grind

Yeah I heard the grind was terrible at release, that is absurdly little! Definitely improved that aspect but still by the time I got to that grind there wasn't much other content to dive into! Game was a blast though and really excited for the sequel!

Love the wheel series and always look forward to them. Got this in my 'potential list' but think it might have just sky dived down the order after seeing the gears trophy, although the game play does look like a lot of fun. Another banger and looking forward to whatever content you release next!

The games looks like a lot of fun and well worth getting the 100% for, I think your experience really suffered from trying to farm it should instead of just playing away and enjoying your time with it on your off hours from some bigger grinds. Great video tho! I'll definitely be adding this to my upcoming list.

I see where you're coming from the only issue is there wasn't that much content to keep playing for said grind. So my mindset was, I'd rather smash it out in 5 hours than play for 15 hours to do the same thing. I would've hated it either way so in that situation, may as well hate myself for less time 😂 But I do recommend giving the game a crack, it's mostly good fun!

The time trials did have me raging at parts but once I figured out the shortcuts I was chilling! The coin and gear grind were a pain though!

If you want real short easy games to take a break in between hard grindy games. I suggest Alba, A Short Hike, and Lil Gator game (coming out soon to consoles). All good games for an easy platinum while giving you good vibes. It's a great video idea for any casuals trying to get more plats. Been loving the videos so far

It’s not bad there are a few hard achievements/trophies to earn like 100% every goal in the city map. It’s not hard until you do those time trail races I had to look up way to cheat them just to beat the times and the 25,000 gears trophy was very annoying.

@@MayorHairBear well In that case, I was gonna recommend Rain World. It’s a sort of metroidvania with survival and immersive sim elements. It’s one of those games people either end up loving or hating. I got all the achievements in steam, along with the DLC, and while I found 90% of the achievements to be fun challenges, the last 2 were a total pain in the ass. If your feeling up for it, be my guest, but don’t expect the game to go easy on you, even if you want to play it casually.

I’ve been doing the platinums for Kingdom Hearts and my god I just finished Birth By Sleep. Are the Kingdom Hearts games all on the wheel? Also I think you should just put Kingdom Hearts on the wheel and if it ever pops just play them in order instead of listing every game. If you start with KH2 for example it will be so crazy mixed up

The game is good but it really is harder than it looks. The time trials will test every nerve you have and I can confidently say that if you don't use the shortcuts, you WILL NOT beat them. I did some of those races glass perfect and still failed the times. You need the shortcuts. I actually put the game down for about a month before looking up shortcuts and finally banging through it. Even WITH the shortcuts there were a few that were very tricky. Between that and the grinding for coins and gears it was annoying. I just found metal albums on youtube and listened to them while playing until I FINALLY got everything. I still havent done the DLC though. I probably should as the new game comes out in like two weeks.

Definitely more challenging than it looks, I did clear about 20 time trials before learning any shortcuts but the last few are brutal. DLC trophies are super easy though and the new game releases next week!
