Welcome to my Animal Crossing channel. Today's Animal Crossing New Horizons video is all about the Siblings that exist in Animal Crossing New Horizons, and the rest of the Animal Crossing franchise.
We breakdown every Sibling relation starting with the Special Characters in Animal Crossing, that have been officially confirmed at some point. We then highlight those Special Animal Crossing characters that are implied as Siblings, including a few rumours. We even include Copper and Booker as these Animal Crossing characters are often referred to as Siblings, although probably aren't. Moving on, we begin highlighting the Villagers (or Residents) in Animal Crossing that also have Siblings. We bring the Animal Crossing documentary-style video to a close with the best Animal Crossing fact of all time, that you won't believe! Technically, all the squirrels could be related by proxy...because they all look similar and have similar fur patterns but changed. Or, we can go with a theory that the animals can yk, have baby versions of their animal group but also act the same, such as how most rodents have lots of babies so...let that sit in your head and marinate a bit 🤣🤣🤣

To those confused about why Nan and Chevre are not listed, it's because they as not related as far as we know. However, Nan's description on Pocket Camp's loading screen says that they are pen pals.

"Viche and Cece, who are of course the Splatoon-inspired crossover villagers... are also villagers who are confirmed to be sisters, just like their Splatoon counterparts." Callie and Marie are actually cousins in Splatoon, so if Viche and Cece are entirely the same, they would be cousins as well, and not sisters.

I actually made a spreadsheet of villagers, species, their number of siblings, and their rank among those siblings. There were a LOT of pairs without taking looks into account. The sibling status of the villagers (re)introduced in New Horizons is unknown. For all we know, Ursala’s younger sibling could be one of Megan/Judy (my friend has both Ursala and Judy on her island), or Sherb could be one of Kidd’s older siblings (an artist I follow made the peppy middle sister). Lily states that she’s the oldest of three *sisters*, ruling Drift out. Emerald and Sunny who haven’t appeared since the Gamecube era could be the other two, and Diva and Drift could have a blue poison dart frog older sibling. Pashmina played Makoto Nijima in dclemente’s Persona 5 recreation, so I guess this makes Velma Sae? My favorite is Gala as Rasher’s little sister whom he would lowkey kill for.

Only male villagers are listed as being quadruplets or quintuplets, which leads me to believe it’s a mistranslation of “four/five brothers”. Ione is the fifth of seven sisters in my head.

I believe there's dialogue if you scan Digby's amiibo in the cafe or something, that states he's the one who does our HHA evaluations! So he's not really in the game unless you scan him in, and his role is way diminished from earlier games, but he did take over Lyle's job.

I always love when the villagers are siblings because having them on the same island and watching them talk to or about each other, argue, apologize, and have small dialogue together, makes it so much cuter. And I know this is about siblings but Ike, a bear villager, actually has a child, a cub villager named Poko(may be wrong about the name) who was sadly cut from the game.

Villagers having siblings really makes you think. Some I can imagine looking nearly identical like Flurry's 9 younger siblings are probably white hamsters just like she is, then there are ones like Rodney who look so unique that it makes me wonder what their siblings would even look like. Do Rodney's 8 younger siblings have teal fur and pink hair like he does? Or did he dye his hair and/or fur?

Their original Japanese names Moorii (Orville) and Rodorii (Wilbur) have nothing to do with the Wright brothers, though. Some people theorize that they are named after two islands where dodos have once lived in the past: the islands of Mauritius (Moorii) and Rodrigues (Rodorii).

About Label: Once you get friendship high enough to Sable in New Leaf to unlock the QR code machine, it's confirmed all three are siblings with a text box along the lines of 'Thats when the three of us decided to make Able Sisters, however, Label went to do her own thing" Their story is quite sad actually, but it is a tinier part of the game that added a lot more 'lore' to animal crossing imo. The theme was turning a new leaf (starting over) and the small pieces of info we get from being friends with Sable and Able in that one lil mini quest in New Leaf really captures that, while also explaining a small bit of their backstory, however I am not sure if she was a character prior to New Leaf, as the Animal Crossing Movie does not feature her like it does with Sable & Able (the animal crossing movie has no english dub or sub, and you would HAVE to learn japanese to watch it and understand it, unfortunately, but it's also a great way to learn japanese if you're up for the test. There might be an unofficial dub someplace on youtube however) In short, I just wanted to mention that 'the community widely accepts this is true' because, it should be true; as anyone who read her text boxes should know nintendo did in fact, confirm this themselves inside the 'mini questline' :)) I hope for anyone reading though, to find this comment educational.

If you play all the games in order you get to see their relationship progress. It's revealed that after their parents died, Sable the oldest took charge of looking after the family, but Label decided to leave to pursue her dreams of being a fashion designer, leaving Sable to raise young Mable alone. Eventually Mable and Sable start their clothes shop together, with Mable handling sales while Sable does the sewing. Meanwhile Label eventually got a job as an intern for designer Gracie, hoping to work her way up in the fashion world. Gracie gave her the nickname Labelle (la-bell) which she took on for her designer persona. However in new leaf we see that Label has come home and joins her sisters in running the shop together and goes back to her true name, Label. However her sisters didn't want to get in the way of her designer dreams, so in new horizons we see that she's once again gone after her dream, this time with more confidence, no longer interning for Gracie but pursuing her own brand and she gives you special Labelle clothes.

Porter. I love all the information. This is the stuff that I wish you'd learn from talking to your villagers. I like when the normal villagers talk about calling their parents. Why can't they talk about their siblings too? Also, who is to say that the other siblings aren't in the game? I mean unless they are part of a set then it's a possibility. I think I'll be taking a look at the link you provided to see if any of them could possibly be.

Uh, correction: The "Squid Sisters" aren't ACTUALLY sisters from what I hear from Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion DLC, they're cousins if I recall correctly. Their idol duo group is what is called a "Misnom", a naming of something or somebody that is untrue to them in the truth. Such as, if someone who has a name of one species or something else, but they are of a completely unrelated kind of being or thing (like if you for some reason when playing Pokemon nickname a Ninetales after whatever fruit juice is your favorite kind of fruit juice, for example) hence the term "Misnom", a name that has a misleading context to whatever that name belongs to. You know that thing people call a "stinky flower" (I forget the "flower's" actual name)? well, it's not actually a flower, and is moreso a parasite feeding off of it's host. You know, that "flower" that appears in your town in some Animal Crossing games, but only if your town rating is as worse as possible with all the junk and lack of greenery.

i actually have a few headcanoned siblings for some villagers! ruby and cole are siblings -- twins, at that, and share the same birthday (august 10th -- which is canonically cole's). ruby's older, while cole's younger another is interesting, as it involves caroline, bliss (who i think became caroline), shaki (a scrapped character), and kit (another scrapped character) -- all of them are siblings! shaki is the oldest, while kit is the youngest i think i have more but i can't remember them, but im interested to see other headcanons :o (also ty for bringing up digby everyone seems to forget about him and that makes me sad ((obvious bias)

I made a restaurant in Happy Home Paradise called Siblings. It's staffed by Rosie, Punchy, Moe, and Tom. There's also a picture of their brother, Rover on the wall and his suitcase by the front door. It's a big family.

I only joined the animal crossing fandom at New Horizons, but I have long had the conspiracy theory that Maple and Olive were cousins, due to similar overall designs, similar personalities, and similar tastes in clothing! Maple just appears to be the brown/autumn-themed version of Olive's grey and pink; both share the hair tufts, the light cream area around their mouths, and the generally sweet demeanors. I always hesitated to label them as siblings due to the mix of color differences and minor variations in design (the eyes in particular were a point of hesitation), but especially if prior lore suggests Olive is the youngest of two, maybe we have her older sister available in the form of Maple!
