Spikes would actually add so much to SMM2, and I can't think of any glitches that would arise from implementing them. The only change they'd probably have to do is make the spike balls always roll forward instead of obeying physics like they do in NSMBW (slowing down and rolling backwards at hills, etc.). I really hope they can be added somehow.
