Ey, it would be nice if the camera was just a bit higher that way the steering would be out of the way of what we might even see the hood of the car and get a feel of the length. and we might even be able to see your footwork too as you drive(you might need light down there), just my $0.02. Man I love this car!

It is claimed 120 hp, but reality is somewhere above 140 hp. Consumption is around 37-40 mpg

It's one of the loudest cars in the segment, at 110km/h and above you have the impression that one of the windows is open.

its not an aspirated engine my man, why would it feel like one? you have to rev it to accelarate well.

@@davidperezm1903 well, its a powerful and a fun car to drive. Its not a turbo but when its revved its goes pretty well. Usually the 120hp ones are like 130-140 hp strong. But the consumption is pretty good.

@@davidperezm1903 it may feel like a turbo for someone, because its a "big" engine compared to the downsized turbo engines. The torque comes from its size, not from the aspiration. If you think about its 40 nms less then the 1.4 tsi.

@@davidlehrreich3946 My dad has a Volvo Xc60 3.0T and it is so fun to drive, i was in a Golf 1.4Tsi like once and it really surprised me because I felt the power, and it gave me like this feeling of the Volvo’s torque. I like the Mazda ‘cause it’s bigger but I’ve never driven it. So I think I will to with the Golf haha.

Konečne Mazda :))) ajked skyactive a nie old school MZR, 2.0 skyactive 120 PS je len odrezaná verzia zo 160 PS vo vyšších rpm a jazdí fakt pekne

:-))) Realita je taková, že 88 kW má velice běžně ne 120, ale zhruba 140-150 koní. Budu o tom mluvit v podrobnym testu!

Mo je aktuální kára akorát v BN a je to super stroj na jízdu pro lidi, které baví řídit. Ano..výkon má perfektní a úžasná je gradace výkonu a podvozek má jeden z nejlepších ve své třídě. Kdy bude podrobný test?

I debating between the 120bhp and the 165bhp . But I’ve heard the 120bhp is actually higher than quoted about 135 - 140 bop. Would you agree?

It really does feel slightly more powerful than 120bhp. I have a 2014 model with a manual and i love it! Only complaint is that in higher speeds it is actually a bit noisy inside

The difference between the 120 and 165 versions should be a pretty much only a different transmission. That's it, it's the same engine, just tuned differently. Up to 4000 rpms their power output itself is exactly the same, so, you get to exploit the advantages of the 165 only above 4000 rpm. So 165 is in reality not all that much more powerful and that can be also seen clearly in the 0-100 accelerations, which are very close to each other. Personally, I have the 120 version and it's more than enough if one knows how to use the transmission. Some people are used to forced induction so much they can't wrap their heads around that and then they complain that it's "slow". It's not. Their gear changing skills are. You can also get 120 and then get it chipped to 165 or even higher. The engine can take it for sure (because as stated, it's the same engine), the question is only what will it do with the transmission.

@@savydaniel the big difference is the gearbox. the 120hp goes easily to 165hp but the gearbox is not adjusted the same way so it is not very useful.

It's not a noisy car, it depends mainly on the tyres, I have a 2016 with 16" wheels and normal tyres (Michelin), it's quiet car in terms of noise, obviously depends on how you drive...

I purchased a 2015 Honda Civic 1.8 iVTEC 142HP. Very nice car but I am also interested in this one with this more powerful engine. I think these 2 specific cars represent what the car market will never be anymore: simple, well enginered and reliable cars. No turbos, no automatic transmissions. The Honda is really nice.

I have civic 2012 1.8L 142 and my girlfriend Mazda 3 2.0L 120 . Mazda 3 = more confort and options and look better. , civic = better engine and handling !

If this is the 2.0L skyactiv G engine, then it is 155bhp and 200Nm torque. Not 120bhp.

120 HP is very poor for a 2.0L car these days..but im sure the engine aint overstressed like all the little turbo units around these days making it this car reliable im sure. But its still underpowered . It should be 160 at least. My old 323F 1.8 from 30 years ago had more power.!!

It is in reality somewhere around 150, look at acceleration. There is also more powerful version with 165 - really around 170 hp.

The same engine in America has 155HP (13:1 compression ratio), in Japan 165HP (14:1), it may be electronically limited by environmental issues in some countries I suppose.

Yes, it is limited to 120hp from factory in EU... but you can program it to 180hp easily.

@@HeikkiHeiskanen Why could they not bring it to around 160 HP like they have in the 6 & CX-5.?? When you see 1.0L 3cyl Turbos with more power... Its just an embarrasing fig to put there by Mazda. 30 years ago it would even have been a poor power fig from a 2.0L unit..

How old is this car? 2015? And how on earth can you forget that most important data on the car, in both your descriptions? And hey man, don't show your face, many of your drives in your videos, might send you straight to jail. Several times you drive 100 % more than allowed, specially in town = 6 month prison.. ;)
