Check ac pressure also and power to ac compressor after determining ac fuse is good and pressure is good

I have 2013 CX5, the AC doesnt work. Im constantly buying refrigerant. It doesnt cool the back seats. What should i check ?

Start with Freon pressure it might be low

I have a 2010 Mazda3 I'm having ac problems replaced the ac compressor, checked the relay and fuses there all good, put Freon in replaced all the seals including the high pressure sensor. I know it's not the blower sensor because my fan works on all speeds. The ac compressor still won't turn on. It works because I tried the paper clip trick and it turns on when jumping the relay. What could be the issue? Appreciate the video

Did u scan the car for codes in hvac. Could be the pressure sensor faulty

Yeah no codes I just went and replaced it anyway and still nothing. Idk the last thing that I’m thinking it could be is wiring.

Hey man, i have a 2013 Mazda 5. I was driving normally and the AC stop blowing cold air. Heat works, blowers works. Basically no cold air. Check freon and it has pressure. Check fuse and real and they are intact. Compressor clutch is not spining but belts are. What do you think bad compressor? The only think i did not check was the cable on the compressor.

Well u need to do power test on ac compressor was ac on u gonna have to problem the control cable to see if it got power if it dosent then compressor is bad if it dosent then u have issue maybe pressure switch relay fuse or control unit

Hello, i have a 2008 Mazda 5, yesterday the new refrigerant was put in the car , air is blowing but its not cold at all, ive checked the fuses and they seem ok, also checked in the inside the car. any other ideas? or just maybe compressor is dead?

Did u check pressure maybe it leaking out and check power to ac conpressor

I have a 2007 Mazda 5. Recently I changed the air pump and full the R134 gas. Also I changed cabin filters and air filter. The AC have cold air during nights or normal days. But I'm very hot days only cold air and after minutes cold air but not to cold. What do you think is the problem? Please advice.

Seems like ur can need ac Freon service it could be low but pressure will show good since it could be air pressure e

So my 2010 Mazda 5 GT compressor just died today on an extremely hot day. I turn it on, look down and see the Serpentine belt is movie just fine and the belt attached to the AC compressor is moving just fine but the AC Compressor itself is not moving, the three bolts on the left hand side are not moving at all. I also checked the fuses and they are intact. Is it still ok to drive this until I get the Compressor fixed and or swapped out? Summer is ending and I can endure the heat with out AC, i Just dont want to cause any additional problems by using my vehicle. Let me know and thank you for the helpful video.

Yeah u can drive it like that. Try checking to see if ur system got Freon pressure it could be it leaked and that would shut down ac system compressor will not work And in winter when u put defrost on it might not work as well with foggy winds since it needs ac to equalize the air other than that u should be good

@@RBTheMechanic It looks like the clutch isn't engaging, is it safe to drive if this is the case? Like I said, the Serpentine belt is moving and the belt from the pulley to the AC Compressor clutch is moving. I don't see the three bolts to the left moving. Thanks for the response, I've ordered a new AC compressor just in case.

Hi, I have a Mazda 5 2008. I was wondering if the Mazda 5 2008 has some sort of a safety valve so you can change the the valve without it any gas or refrigerant leaking out? Or would have to take it a mechanic with an AC machine to safely take out the refrigerant and gas. Looking for some help. Thank you!

Check fuse and relay if it got both also check to see the ac pressure these are the basics before u do anything else

Hi!! I have a Mazda 5 grand touring 2012 and the ac just stop blowing air in the front but still blowing in rear! All fuses are fine and tested but resistor is not receiving power is it normal and just need to change the front motor blower resistor or do you thing is something else!?

I have the same issue on a 2013 Mazda 5, AC on the front just stopped blowing air, no air at all, but the AC on the back still blows air, any idea what can it be? The air on the back feels not cold, thanks in advanced. @@RBTheMechanic

Did u check to see if low line get cold ? Did u check ac pressure

Hi! I have a Mazda 5 and I just finished changing my cabin air filter and my AC stopped working afterwards (the AC button lights up, but no cold air comes out of the vents). While I was changing it I did see sensors down there but I didn’t touch them. I’ve tried reseating the AC fuse like you recommended but it still doesn’t work. Can you help please?

⁠⁠⁠@@RBTheMechanic There is neither hot air or cold air. I turned the switch to 90 degrees Fahrenheit and no heat comes out, I press the AC button and no air conditioning comes out 😢

@@MikeC-jw1ky well this is an issue of blower motor did u try max high speed. Or hit the blower motor with turned to high speed it’s under glove box just smack it it might kick on

No sure for definitely but u have to check the basics check fuse pressure first

Thanks I replaced both ac fuses in the engine compartment and inside the car , now the Ac is like Luke warm lol

I have 2006 Mazda 5 and my blowers stopped on my ac …if I turn ac off I feel cold air coming slightly out my vents …but my blower isn’t coming on to push the cold air

Try high speed if it dosent work replace blower motor and resistor togather

Check ur bled door motor it might be not be working and stuck in hot

@@RBTheMechanic thanks boss 1 question: is it normal the ac compressor start for a few seconds and stop? 2-Last time I put more Freon in it and when I press the gas pedal the Freon explode.Somebody told me it’s because the air is suppose to go around in circle but because of the air not coming inside the car and the pressure are the cause of the Freon bursts. I would like to know your point of view Thanks for your help

@@RBTheMechanic yes am using cans Freon to fill it up, usually after I fill it up I remove the can and press the gas .It has happened twice,it’s the ac gas that explode Regarding the ac compressor, it come on and off in a few seconds.I don’t know if it’s normal or am just worrying for nothing

@@RBTheMechanic lol, do you have any videos on how to fix the blower. Just recharged AC and it worked but It use to blow better.

@@RBTheMechanic It still blows some air though. Earlier when I messaged you I couldn’t even figure out how to charge it lol. I’m going to try changing the filter.
