I just cannot say how much I love Frankie Beverly and Maze...they were such a big part of my love for music as a teen and playing guitar... I'm 64 years old and this music never gets old...and I don't care how old he gets...Frankie Beverly is one of the most soulful, creative and meaningful musicians in R&B...at 75 years he still loves what he does and the fans who he does it for!! Him and Stevie Wonder are two of my favs!!! I love this brotha so much!!!

FRANKIES VOICE IS WHERE ITS SUPPOSE TO BE FOR 75. THE VOCAL CHORDS CHANGE WITH AGE. TONY BENNETT, FRANK SINATRA DID NOT!!! SOUND THE SAME AS THEY AGED. GIVE THIS MAN A BREAK AND IMAGINE IF JUST RETIRES. NO SPECTACULAR CONCERTS FROM FRANKIE. HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHY HE KEEPS GOING. STICK WITH THE BEST. STAY LOYAL THIS MAN DESERVES IT. I KNOW HIM PERSONALLY. NO THROAT CANCER, BUT ROAD RAGE TRAVELING IN VARIOUS WEATHER DOES EFFECT THE VOCAL CHORDS. OR DO YOU BELIEVE IN THAT SINGING IN THE RAIN STUFF. NAW, WATCH UR CHORDS CHANGE. HE BRINGS IT AND THATS FRANKIES GLORY

@@patritablackston2064 THANK YOU FOR THE HEARTS. I NEVER EXPECTED AND SINCERELY APPRECIATE. I'M JUST SHARING THE TRUTH. EVERY YEAR, ABOUT HIS VOICE AS HE AGES. ONE MUST TAKE CARE OF THEIR HEALTH TO TOUR THAT MUCH. GOD BLESS THEM ALL. RELIGIOUS BAND.

That band has left Frankie Beveely and crested their own group. It is called TMF or the The Music Forever.

Frankie might need just need a coach. Soul greats like him are refined in their craft but a good coach can pinpoint the issue and work on it. I'm no pro but have seen people with cord damage etc train back to a healthy voice. If he is speaking his voice is not gone, certain components maybe not the same but the voice is there. He needs some appoggio breathing exercises and chest voice strengthening to get back to the sound we're used to. It doesn't sound like he has had any professional help since he started having vocal issues, but I feel like 6 months with consistent work he would sound much better.

I enjoyed Frankie Beverly & Maze & Frankie is loved everywhere & we Black people love his shows over & over but I really think the guitarist over played to long trying to showcase himself Frankie has played that on his guitar & sounded way better without trying Frankie Beverly for Lifr ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥🔥
